Stayed here in mid-August 2025 during a surveying project from Gauteng. Life got busy and I'm only getting to this review now – but Destiny Inn Lodge deserves proper recognition. As Surveyors traveling for work, we have a strict checklist: proximity to site, proper security for equipment, self-service facilities (coffee station, fridge), dinner options, and card payment facilities. Destiny Inn nailed every single one. What stood out: Close enough to our Polokwane work site to avoid wasting time on unnecessary travel Secure premises – critical when you're carrying survey gear worth more than most cars Proper in-room service station with fridge. That ice-cold Coke after a day in the Limpopo sun? Non-negotiable. Excellent dinners courtesy of Marinda, our hostess, who was exceptional throughout our stay Friendly, professional staff who understand business travelers Electronic payments accepted (we don't carry cash) Marinda's hospitality was the highlight – attentive without being intrusive, delicious meals, and genuinely interested in making sure we were sorted. For anyone doing project work in Polokwane: this is your base. We'll definitely be booking here again on our next trip up north.
