Reviews of Boudl Al Shatea

For a first-time visitor to Dammam, Saudi Arabia and for the amount that I have paid for, staying at Boudl Al Shatea was, to me, a great decision. Everything that I needed in a hotel for a relatively short 3-night stay was present specially in terms of the room amenities and available facilities at the hotel (e.g. swimming pool). I also appreciated the Reception officer offering to guests Saudi coffee and dates while they do their check-in/check-out procedures. This apparently simple but kind gesture gave me a very nice impression about Saudi culture and hospitality. The room I was assigned was spacious, clean and smelling nice, and fully furnished. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of my room and this was true for the rest of the hotel's premises. In terms of location, the hotel is a short taxi/Uber/Careem ride away from the Dammam Main Bus Station (if you are coming from King Fahd International Airport via the Eastern Region Bus). There is also a not-so-vibrant mall next to the hotel (called Al Shatea Mall), which thankfully had a Carrefour Hypermarket giving me easy access to whatever I had in mind to eat (like breads/pastries, fruits and Saudi treats/snacks). Restaurants and fast food chains are also aplenty and are short walking distance away from the hotel. However, if you would need to explore the more known tourist areas/attractions in Dammam, walking is not an option as these are a bit far off and would require booking a taxi/Uber/Careem. But given another opportunity to visit Dammam in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at Boudl Al Shatea again.

Very good location. Carrefour is just next door. Starbucks also next door. Easy to locate. Room is big and clean too. Value for money. Room furniture is dated other than that is all good

The room is big and the bed is super soft... But a big problem is that the signal in the room is very poor. Although there is Wi-Fi, it is also very poor and always disconnects...

The service is very nice, the facilities are clean, it was an excellent and unique experience, and we will return, God willing. Thank you.

The hotel furnishings are a bit old. The air conditioner is too cold and can't be controlled remotely. But the apartment is clean. The service is also warm and thoughtful. The English of the front desk is very OK. The mattress is very comfortable! There is also a new hotel opened by the sea in Dammam, which seems to be better, but it is not available on Ctrip. I hope it will be available soon.

The hotel is conveniently located, with complete facilities and good hygiene. It is worth staying again

Overall, I am quite satisfied. The bed is very comfortable, really comfortable. The softness and hardness are just right, and the sheets are very clean. The only drawback is that the window is too small and you have to keep the lights on all day. The swimming pool is beautiful.
