Reviews of Hyatt House Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port

Our experience here was not very good. The only positive thing I can say is that we were able to check in early (noon) and the front desk associate was pleasant and polite. The room was in dire need of a remodel /update. I also was disgusted to find fecal matter in the toilet flush handle. Extremely unsanitary!

Booked 3 nights here while visiting family in Fort Lauderdale and waiting to fly out, and we were really happy with this hotel. Alana at the front desk helped us find a missing bar stool for our kitchen. 😊 Everyone was friendly and helpful. Hyatt House is geared towards extended stays so the kitchen is full sized and great for self catering, but this location on Dania Pointe is surrounded by restaurants so we ended up eating out quite often! Pool was clean, heated (not necessary in Dania in September but it was ok). Gym was small but ok, mostly cardio, some dumbbells and a bench. Breakfast was decent as chain hotels go, nothing to shout about but ok.
