Excellent
AAnnieWe went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels.
Cleanliness: overall quite clean.
Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island.
Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced.
Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them.

MMauveMHad a wonderful stay here at Forest Inn, Hainan University! My cousin is starting university nearby and we came to drop her off. Since we had stayed in the downtown before, we wanted to find a place close to campus to experience. This hotel is the best option! It’s right within the campus entrance and easy to navigate to. The front desk concierge’s were very friendly and kind - two of them even took us around on the tour bus to familiarize us with the campus and surrounding area. They even went out of their way and offered to help us unload luggage. Since there was no parking space on move-in day, having the option to drop off saved us a lot of hassle. In addition to campus, the hotel is also located close to a botanical garden, about 15 minutes to the downtown area, and close to shops, stores, etc.
Some suggestions:
- Wish the pool was accessible as advertised on Trip but it’s now only a kiddie pool.
- For longer stays, room amenities should be replenished daily based on number of guests.
- I received a rather expensive delivery during my stay and asked the courier to leave it with the front desk as I was out during that time. There was someone at the front desk with a poor attitude who denied that any deliveries arrived and suggested it had been delivered to another location. Luckily, another staff member helped me check and found my delivery. I suggest besides giving guests misleading information, to ensure it’s accurate first.

We had a wonderful time here! The apartment was spotless, modern, and super comfortable . The two-story layout with two bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for us. The location — right across from Ocean Flower Island — was unbeatable .

I recently stayed at the Hilton Ocean Flower Island for a relaxing vacation in Danzhou, and it was a truly comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable. When I arrived, it was pouring rain, and the security guard at the entrance was incredibly thoughtful and warm. He really embodied the simple kindness of the Hainanese people. Understanding that it's inconvenient to park and get around in the rain, he patiently guided us to a temporary spot to shelter from the rain, waiting for it to lighten up before directing us to a proper parking space. This personalized care truly reflected the warm service philosophy of a five-star hotel, and my impression was immediately boosted.
Check-in was handled by the front desk staff with professionalism and composure; the process was smooth and efficient. During check-out, I encountered an exceptionally outstanding front desk employee. She had light yellow highlights in her dark hair and, from a distance, proactively looked up and acknowledged guests. Her smile was warm and generous, and she swiftly processed my room card with both hands. Her etiquette and demeanor were, without a doubt, the most standard and enthusiastic Hilton-style service I experienced during my entire stay. Her thoughtful and attentive service was a delightful surprise.
Regarding dining, the buffet breakfast tasted very good, though the variety of dishes wasn't extensive. I assume this was due to it being the off-peak tourist season. The short-haired hostess and service staff in the restaurant were exceptionally well-mannered. From guiding me to my table to answering dining inquiries, they were poised and polite throughout. When I asked about directions to Twin Beach, they patiently and thoroughly explained everything. Overall, the restaurant's service level was excellent.
The overall room amenities were very thoughtful. There was an emergency flashlight in the drawer, which is incredibly practical – most hotels don't provide such an item, and it's particularly useful in emergencies. However, I do have a few small suggestions: there was a noticeable stain on the room's sofa, which looked a bit out of place. I hope they can find a way to address it; perhaps look into how to clean such deep stains online.
The hotel's location is uniquely advantageous, situated right at the entrance of Bridge No. 1 to Ocean Flower Island, making it incredibly convenient for both entering and leaving the island – a quick turn gets you off the island smoothly. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views; you can clearly see Gujing Street nearby, and Twin Beach is just a short walk away. In the distance, you can also spot the exquisite castle-style buildings, creating beautiful scenery and a strong resort atmosphere.
Overall, despite a few minor flaws, the hotel is excellent. Its attentive service, prime location, and beautiful scenery make it a highly recommended place to stay when visiting Ocean Flower Island.

Geographical location and surrounding environment
The hotel is located about 6 kilometers away from Baimajing Station. When I checked in on March 26, the ground nearby was still under construction and there was a lot of dust. There are many night markets around, which is very convenient for late night snacks. The window opens into a kindergarten. I got up early and was not affected by the noise. Although it is very close to a large supermarket, it closes at half past nine. There is a Lemart nearby where you can buy snacks and drinks at affordable prices.
Facilities and services
The hotel facilities are good, but the mosquito repellent equipment in the guest rooms is ineffective. I was woken up by mosquito bites at three o'clock in the night. When I used the mosquito repellent equipment, I couldn't find new mosquito coils. There was no landline in the room and I couldn't contact the front desk. I was not in the mood to go downstairs and was too lazy to find contact information on Ctrip. I endured the bites and buzzing all night.
Rooms and Decor
In my subjective opinion, the guest rooms at Pullman Danzhou Ritz are larger in size. They feature high-quality bedding, high-quality pillows and linens. The huge living room TV was a pleasant surprise. The room design is modern and comfortable, and the decoration in the room is elegant, creating a warm and luxurious accommodation experience.
Cost-effectiveness
Generally speaking, Pullman Ritz Danzhou needs to strengthen its management of the details of guest room facilities. The bedding is of high quality and the front desk staff has attentive service. The facilities and services provided by the house price make it cost-effective. For travelers who have requirements for bedding, this hotel is undoubtedly a choice worth considering. Remember to ask for a few more mosquito repellent tablets when you stay during the season when there are many mosquitoes.

WWuliwushengThis hotel is huge, with a variety of themed rooms perfect for families with kids. The restaurants are unique, though a bit on the pricey side. I heard from a staff member that there are over 5,000 rooms – it's truly impressive they've managed to thrive, especially during the pandemic. I've already recommended it to my friends!

GGuest UserI have always been longing for Ocean Flower Island, so I just went there. The beautiful boss is very enthusiastic. I love you. She called us as soon as I made the reservation and helped us plan the transportation and precautions. It doesn't take too long to take a taxi from the high-speed rail station, and it is quite easy to find after getting off. The surrounding area is relatively mature business districts, and it is very convenient for eating and living. Hearing that we came here for the reputation of Ocean Flower Island, the boss specially upgraded us to a sea view room with a good view. At night, we stood on the balcony, blowing the sea breeze and drinking a little wine. It felt so comfortable. The room facilities are complete, comparable to a star-level apartment. Manual five-star praise!!!
