We stayed here for four days as a family (parents with child). As has often been written, this is an older beach hotel in a quiet location at a reasonable price. It has its advantages and disadvantages, and in the end it is a personal decision whether the shortcomings are more important than the price. If you look at the positives, then you can easily spend a few nice days here. The hotel is at the end of a very long dead end street with many - mostly higher priced - hotels. Right next door is a water park, but it didn't cause much noise, so it was quiet overall. Due to the location, you have to rely on taxis/rental cars or similar, but the beach is beautiful - for a city of millions. Nobody would swim in the sea here, but the pool is very nice, big and clean. The whole complex was obviously designed and built many years ago with great taste, with many beautiful details. In photos, some of it looks really great, as we discovered ourselves. Unfortunately, far too little has been and is being invested in maintenance, so that the decay is visible almost everywhere. The room - which must have been beautiful at some point in the past - was also dark and old. The large bed had a (important) mosquito net installed - but the extra bed did not (children are OK with being bitten?). The bathroom in particular was in dire need of renovation. Very little water came out of the shower, which had the advantage that the slow drain was not so annoying. Every day after the room was cleaned, we only had two towels left and had to ask for a third. The breakfast was very good, with a fairly varied buffet, with eggs made to order. The evening meal in the restaurant was also good. The WiFi worked quite reliably and reached our room. There was also a working safe in the room.
