The hotel has a good location, the rooms are spacious enough, and the restaurant food is decent. On paper, it should have been a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the service that worked during the night between the 31st of August and 1st of September completely ruined the experience. We had to check out at 4:00am on Monday (1.09) and were hoping for a quiet night of rest instead of waiting at the airport. Instead, the receptionist played loud music from his phone between 10:00pm and 1:00am, laughing and talking to someone on the phone at high volume until midnight. Just as we finally fell asleep, his one person party escalated as he started playing music again at 1:00am, singing and whistling. When I asked him to stop, he did but then continued dragging heavy wooden chair for another 30 minutes before finally quieting down. We managed to fall asleep only around 1:30am. In the morning, he even asked how the night was as if he didn’t already know. Honestly, airplanes approaching Dar es Salaam airport are quieter than the receptionist was. Overall, while the hotel itself is fine, the arrogant and rude behavior of the night staff completely overshadowed the positives. Will never visit again.
