Windamere Hotel - A Colonial Heritage

We were really looking forward to this fancy afternoon tea we had booked. First of all it was really hard to come in contact with them to make a booking. They never answered what time we should arrive and I sent two emails asking. It wasn’t much of afternoon tea, scones where dry, the cream was frozen and the cakes were dry. For the price you pay you do expect Newley baked scones and cakes. Service was okay but nothing extra. I would say it’s not worth the price and it feels like they still are living on a old reputation.

Withering Bites was where we had lunch and breakfast on both days. The food was excellent. The service was exceptional. I must mention Pramoda and Pranesh who were. very helpful. The restaurant is so picturesque and the food was very tasty. We were very pleasantly surprised. Would recommend this place for a meal anytime.
