Located about 50-minute drive from Toya Lake Onsen Street, it is all the way up hill toward the direction of Lake Shikotsu. My rental Toyota GPS can not locate the exact location of the hotel so I have to reply on my cell phone GPS. You have to drive through a small bridge to get over to the other side of the road where the hotel is located up on a slope. On the first look, how could they built such an enormous building on the slope ! There was a tour group checking in when we arrived, but check in with the reception is still fast. We stayed on the high floor where there is a lounge with a massage chair for guest use. Our room is a deluxe suite western + Japanese style, enormous in size, and very comfortable, looking over the river and hill. Two twin beds, sofa, Japanese style living room, closet, big powder room, bath, and toilet. It is one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in Japan. The onsen is again enormous. Very big indoor bath, with different taste such as apple. Outdoor onsen is again enormous, with tens of different ingredients in each smaller bath tub. Example of taste are honey, lavender. One of the most diversified onsen I have ever visited. When it comes to dinning, dinner or breakfast, it is a big let down. Both quality and choice is not up to my expectation with the beautiful onsen the hotel provides. However, the restaurant itself has a very nice environment, spacious and bright, and green outside. Overall it is a nice hotel to visit with reasonable price.

The hotel was designed to accommodate check-in during busy times, and the hospitality was great so that children would not get bored. Since there was a transfer to Horohoro Sanso, I felt that I didn't have enough time to relax in the uncrowded bath and enjoy Soraniwa's pool and large public bath. Even though the buffet was crowded, the atmosphere and the size of the place didn't make you feel that way, so I was able to relax. There were many kinds, and there were many vegetables, which I liked. I think it's so active that I think it's very popular even though it's a corona misfortune. We also experienced flying squirrels, but it was so much fun even for two adults that Superman wanted more. It was always my first time to go to Soraniwa because of the green wind, but the atmosphere was completely different and became one of my memories.

It is a well-known inn where you can bring your dog. There is a dog run near the inn, and there are two types, one for small dogs and one for small dogs. Although it is quite shallow, there is a footbath for dogs outdoors. There is a shooting spot for dogs at the front desk, and there are also snacks for dogs at the shop. Although it was such a time, there were unexpectedly many guests, and there were many people with dogs as well as my home. I feel that it is kind to dogs. However, I think it is difficult for customers other than those with dogs. The animal smell you feel when you enter the inn. It will be hard for those who are not good at animals. The room is large enough. There is also a shower booth for dogs. However, although I think this is like each other, the animal smell is amazing. Furthermore, since only the smoking room was vacant, it was double with the smell of tar. You shouldn't put your dog on the sofa or bed, but the bedspread had a lot of hair from the previous guest's dog, which was already on the sheets. The pee smell around the bed was also terrible. This is just a matter of guest etiquette, but I think it is better to give strict attention not only at the notice but also at check-in. The bath is so wonderful that it cancels it out. You can enjoy many kinds. You can also use the bath of Soraniwa of Kita, a sister facility. I think the food is buffet style and the taste is average. I saw a child talking loudly and sticky in front of the food, so I couldn't eat much. After all, I would like you to thoroughly call attention to that area as well. It's a valuable inn where you can bring your dog, so I'd like to go there again, but I hope these have been improved ...
