Crystal Orange Datong Government Affairs Hall Wanda Plaza

Of all the Huazhu Group hotels, Orange Crystal is my absolute favorite. No matter the city, whenever there's an Orange Crystal nearby, I always choose it without a second thought. It's not only because the design aesthetic is exactly my style, but also because I always get a wonderfully comfortable night's sleep! I genuinely love the hotel's breakfast too. The sense of privacy and quiet, combined with the excellent environment, attentive service, and overall convenience, truly elevates my experience and boosts my happiness.

Overall, a pretty good experience, I'd recommend it. Room: As a family of three, our room came with a double bed and a single bed, which we found very comfortable. Breakfast: Generally good. The freshly made knife-cut noodles (dao xiao mian) were delicious and highly recommended. I had a latte, but it was just average with a slightly strange taste – definitely room for improvement. Check-out: The hotel provided a complimentary souvenir/gift.

The hotel is excellent. It's very close to the ancient city and Wanda Plaza, with a super convenient surrounding area and plenty of convenience stores. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. I had a very satisfying stay and highly recommend it. Parking is also very convenient, and it's close to all the main attractions with easily accessible transportation. The service was exceptionally good, highly recommended.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located near the government center, just a 10-minute taxi ride to the ancient city. Room: The room was incredibly spacious, spotless, and the facilities were brand new. It's hands down the best Orange Hotel I've stayed at recently. It also featured a large desk, perfect for working or dining. Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive – absolutely excellent! The self-service laundry was also a huge plus, allowing me to wash my travel clothes and get them clean. The dryer worked very quickly too. Nearby: We ordered Kai Ge takeout three times. Delivery was fast, and my family was extremely satisfied, saving us the hassle of queuing up at the restaurant. The food was delicious and offered incredible value for money. Datong is fantastic! I'll definitely be back. Attractions: We visited all the main attractions, and the historical sites are truly abundant. We also visited the less-known Volcano Park, which was great. The blue skies of Datong are simply beautiful. On our last day, we went to Dongnanyi, and I was absolutely amazed! I genuinely love the city of Datong! I hope it continues to thrive!

As a newly opened Orange Crystal hotel, all the facilities are quite new and modern. The family room was also very spacious. The room was meticulously cleaned and spotless. The hotel is not too far from most attractions. The only minor drawback is that it's a couple of kilometers away from Wanda (a shopping mall), which is convenient by bike but not easily accessible on foot. The service staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
