Orange Hotel Datong Ancient City Branch

The room was incredibly spacious and warm, so much so that we thought it was a crystal orange. Its proximity to the old town made dining and going out super convenient! I'd highly recommend it!

The room was large and clean. Everyone from the front desk staff to the security guards to the breakfast lady were very welcoming and helpful. The security guard even helped charge the electric bike. The hotel is in a great location, close to the old town and close to the Kaige restaurant. The front desk also provided oranges or peaches every day.

The front desk staff were very welcoming. It was my first time in Datong, so I asked them about unfamiliar places. The peaches 🍑 they provided at the front desk were incredibly sweet! I also recommend the noodle shop across the street, which is delicious 😋. The room was spacious, and every night after swimming, it was cleaned and the table was filled with mineral water. The breakfast was also very filling, and the Beibei pumpkin was delicious 😋. Upon check-out, they even gave me a bottle of local vinegar and some snacks!

The front desk service was very friendly, and the peaches at the front desk were delicious. Facilities: Mostly complete, but I hope they could provide disposable toilet seats and foot baths upon request. Cleanliness: There was a lot of trash next to the trash cans at the elevator entrance on the first floor, and even more trash at the trash cans at the elevator entrance on the third floor. It was a very unpleasant experience. Datong's attractions are truly amazing, but the entrance fee is too expensive. A single temple entrance fee of fifty yuan is truly excessive.
