Tmall Elf Hotel (Yongtai Baisheng Branch in Datong Ancient City)

This stay was absolutely perfect! I absolutely loved the hotel environment. The bathtub in the bathroom was exquisitely designed and comfortable, and the overall decor had a great sense of quality, showing attention to detail everywhere. It was incredibly relaxing to be there. The service was impeccable. From check-in to responding to daily needs, everything was handled very promptly. The staff were gentle and thoughtful, and their attention to detail really made a great impression. Definitely a five-star recommendation!

Choosing the right hotel is so important! It's just a ten-minute walk from Datong Ancient City, and the scenery in Datong is absolutely stunning. The room was clean and bright, and the housekeeping was exceptionally thorough – not even a water stain on the vanity. The biggest surprise was how quiet it was; you couldn't hear any noise even in the hallway, which was a huge relief for someone like me who struggles with sleep. My overall experience exceeded expectations, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

Staying during the off-season meant fewer guests, so the front desk lady upgraded our room. The hotel has several floors, and while the ground floor isn't very large, once you get on the elevator, you realize the hotel is quite spacious. The room was very warm, and the soundproofing was good too.

Datong is a beautiful and fun city to visit! This hotel is in a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's super close to Datong Ancient City. The room was spacious and clean. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Datong.

If you're traveling to Datong, book this hotel without hesitation! The Totoro Spirit themed hotel truly exceeded my expectations. First off, the cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was soft and odorless, and the bathroom had a separate wet/dry area with a bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak. Secondly, the theme atmosphere was fantastic, with Totoro decorations everywhere, making for great photos and really awakening my inner child. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive; they answered all my questions and even proactively recommended local food and sightseeing routes. The free luggage storage was incredibly practical. The location is excellent, within walking distance to popular attractions, and the value for money is outstanding. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!
