Jinjiang Inn (Datong Dongxin Plaza)

The service attitude was excellent, and the room facilities were comfortable and elegant. The shower gel, in particular, was fantastic! 👍

Early in the morning, a male sanitation worker started cleaning the room and kept using the intercom. The noise was so loud that it woke up the whole family and affected their sleep. No matter how good the hardware and facilities are, if you don't get a good rest, it will be a bad review.

Last weekend, our family went to Datong, Shanxi to visit relatives. We drove with my parents and booked this Jinjiang Inn one night in advance. We booked two rooms at one time. We arrived at the hotel at ten o'clock the next night. After checking in, we found the room to be quite large and the environment was not bad. As it was quite late, we went to bed directly. The next morning, it was still dark and I wanted to go to the bathroom. In the dark, I saw something moving on the ground. I quickly turned on the light and saw a big insect crawling on the ground. I hit it and it ran under the bed. After a while, another one appeared. I quickly took a photo and checked out immediately in the morning. When checking out, I specifically told the front desk and showed me the photos. The front desk didn't take it seriously at all and didn't say a word of apology. They just said, "Really? Let me take a photo of you." Then they took the intercom and told the cleaner that there were cockroaches in that room and asked him to look for them. Then they ignored us. There was really no word of apology. In fact, I didn't ask for any compensation. An apology is the minimum. I'm really embarrassed that they didn't even say a word. I have to post this to let everyone avoid it.
