Zhifou·Zhifou Ancient City Wall Corner Designer Courtyard Homestay (Datong Ancient City)

After arriving in Datong, we went to Yingxian, and then returned to Datong to continue our trip… We ate at other places because we were exhausted and our luggage was heavy. We thought about contacting the owner to ask if they could pick us up, since it required advance booking. To our surprise, the owner agreed immediately – we were so happy! Facilities: Everything was relatively new, with smart appliances… The pillows were incredibly comfortable; after our previous stay, we slept like a log, it was so comfortable! Cleanliness: Comparable to a five-star hotel! There wasn't a single water stain, and they thoughtfully provided disposable toilet seat covers, which were very practical! Those who know, know. Environment: There was one room of each type, and I liked them all. The standard room had tatami mats and a window sill. The owner upgraded me to a double bed. The floor-to-ceiling window opened onto the balcony, where there were two cute little snowmen. The owner thoughtfully placed some snacks and fruit in the room. As a southerner, I wasn't used to the heating, and it was so hot! Thank goodness for the fruit – so refreshing! In the south, I only dare to eat fruit in air-conditioned rooms 😂 Finally, I asked the owner to help me mail some postcards. I was so envious that the post office here has such a long lunch break! The owner treated us tourists like family and friends. It's truly a joy to have friends coming from afar! Thank you so much! It made my last day in Datong incredibly happy!

The host was very nice, understanding our needs in advance and personally picking us up from the parking lot to help with our luggage. The room was clean and hygienic, the bathroom was very large, and the toiletries were of good quality. The guesthouse is located in a residential area with antique-style buildings, mostly run by guesthouses; currently, parking is available on the roadside outside the complex. There are many restaurants nearby, but getting breakfast isn't very convenient. The old town center is about 1.6 kilometers from the guesthouse.

The landlady was incredibly welcoming; she knocked on each door to invite guests to watch the drone show in the evening. Located right behind the Prince Dai's Mansion, it's conveniently situated and close to the main attractions of the ancient city. The service was excellent; they even brought an extra blanket right away.

Facilities: The whole house is smart home and even has a projector, perfect for watching TV shows. Cleanliness: The room was very clean. Environment: The owner has thoughtfully decorated the courtyard with various little trinkets. The room has a huge window that lets in the morning sunlight. Service: They also offer pick-up and drop-off service from the high-speed rail station. The breakfast was very plentiful, featuring local specialties that were delicious.
