Pleasant surprise! Cozy but luxurious hotel within the ancient city center. The standards of the hotel are very high and you can see the staff and owners taking things very seriously. Handmade noodels and other delicacies (including coffee). Cherry on top is that they let you borrow a traditional dress for several hours. 住在吉家客栈就像在朋友家，让人感觉非常贴心和温馨。酒店风格典雅，是简洁而现代的中式风。房间的设施一应俱全，空间宽阔，床超级舒服。顶楼的露台视野很好，晚上的夜景更是迷人。另外，酒店的早餐品种丰富，中式西式都有。洗衣房还配有烘干机，很适合像我们这样喜欢轻装出行的人......最后，衷心感谢酒店的工作人员的细心、耐心和爱心，让我们在大同度过了一段美好的时光。以后我们还会选择这间酒店。（对了，酒店旅拍的质量很高，化妆师会听取顾客的意见进行调整，不会化千篇一律的网红妆，超棒）

We had a wonderful stay. Located near the north side of the city walls, this hotel is cozy and the room spacious and well designed, with all the amenities you expect from a modern hotel. The staff was super nice, and they even offered us to have tea in the evening on the beautiful patio (connected to the breakfast room) facing the historic district from above. I definitely recommend it and I will choose it again for my next trip in the area.

A small hotel only a couple of meters from the ancient town of Datong. We had two bedrooms and were surprised, that our mattresses were covered with soft blankets to adept to our European needs. Everybody was friendly and the owner welcomed us personally. Everybody spoke a little English, so we could check in without any problems. Breakfast is Chinese. The Chinese name of the hotel is Jijia Inn. The Apple Map did not find Lucy Inn. We would come back and recommand this place.

Very good customer services. The lady bosses, manager, front desk staff and the security guard are extremely friendly and helpful, especially 小张！ The 刀削面 they provide during breakfast is very good! Very quiet, spacious and comfortable room! Strongly recommended!
