Shankee Hotel (Datong South Railway Station Fantawild Adventure)

This hotel is conveniently located and beautifully decorated. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with brand new facilities. The sleep quality was excellent, and I particularly liked the electric toilet. The breakfast selection was extensive, and most importantly, the staff were incredibly attentive and had exceptional service attitudes. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time!

The room is clean and odorless. The front desk girl is very attentive and responds to inquiries. The hotel is very close to Datong Museum and can be reached on foot if you are physically fit.

We chose this hotel because we were taking our grandchildren to Fantawild. The location is excellent. We finished our evening at Fantawild at around 9:00 PM and were only a five-minute walk back to the hotel. The hotel opened 25 years ago, and I can still feel the décor. After visiting Fantawild, I decided to change hotels. The lobby is small but modern and simple, and the cold sour plum soup on hot days is a nice touch. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, with limited variety and no meat or fish. It felt like a Shaxian snack bar, and the disinfection and hygiene were questionable. The bath water and bedding were good, and the bath towels were white enough but not absorbent. The room was so small that we ordered takeout and had to eat standing up on the windowsill.
