This negative review is for the service. Huiting's facilities are similar across the country. I've stayed at Huiting hotels in cities like Shenzhen, Chengdu, and *****, and it's always my first choice when I go out. The one in Datong is newly renovated and has a bit of a nice smell. After all, I knew it was newly renovated when I booked, so that's forgivable. 1. The service was terrible, with a cold attitude. The room was lacking in many ways. The daily housekeeping didn't sweep the floor, and they didn't provide water, tea bags, or coffee. I had to call every day to ask for it, and they said they would deliver it, but it never came. I wouldn't keep asking just for two bottles of water. 2. The room was noisy, with furniture constantly rattling in the middle of the night. I asked for earplugs, but they were bluntly told they didn't have any. 3. The breakfast room was extremely small and didn't match the rooms. It was supposed to accommodate so many guests, but it was less than half full. Breakfast was incredibly crowded, and I even had to stand up two mornings to eat. 4. The sanitation was unsightly. When I checked in, there was still unused toilet paper under the bathroom cabinet. There were dead bugs next to the cabinet, and some had even crawled onto the bed. 5. There was a hair in the mutton offal noodles for breakfast. Overall, the experience was terrible. This service has almost nothing to do with the Hilton brand, or intuitively speaking, there is no service.
