Ruyard (Datong Ancient City Branch)

This hotel is located right in the ancient city, a charming quadrangle courtyard. It's clean, well-equipped, and has a great atmosphere. Plus, the cats are adorable! Highly recommend!

Located within the ancient city, it was very convenient. It was raining when I went, and I was planning to visit Wutai Mountain later, so the receptionist even helped me check if Wutai Mountain was closed. Because I had a lot of luggage, she helped me carry it all to my room and even brought me some washed fruit. I loved the interior design; it was bright and spacious with a traditional Chinese style, and the whole room was controlled by Xiao Ai (a smart speaker). The shower water was very hot, and although it opened in 2025, the facilities were complete. Since I was traveling with an elderly person and my dog, the receptionist helped me carry my luggage to the car after I checked out! This was a great start to my Shanxi trip—I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Datong! P.S. The cats are all so cute!

This is a pet-friendly guesthouse! We were a group of 2 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog, and stayed for three nights. Overall, the experience was very comfortable. There's a giant poodle named Liu Liu in the yard, and on the -1 floor, there's a British Shorthair, a Maine Coon, a Munchkin, and a Ragdoll that you can pet. The owners will chat with you in the yard. The rooms are also very clean and hygienic. The child and the dogs loved it. The dog would sneak out to play with the guesthouse staff and other dogs when you opened the door. It's a very loving guesthouse. Chatting with the owners, we were surprised to find that we were staying very close to each other in Beijing! What a coincidence! 🫢🫢🫢 They even thoughtfully prepared a gift for us when we checked out—very considerate! Highly recommended! We'll definitely come back next time!

The design is nice, and it's quiet and comfortable. It would be even better if it came with a washing machine.

房間比想象的大很多！衞生間乾濕分離，還有小的搖椅，一次性用品供應齊全，每天都會問需不需要補充，我們人比較多水喝的多前台就放着水想要多少都可以自己拿，名宿位置就在古城內位置特別好就是旺季停車有點難 其他一切都很完美

大同真是個讓人呆著不想走的城市，大同人民和古建都太美好了。一共五天都住在四時好，民宿給人的感覺跟大同這座城市很契合:節奏很慢，所以能拋下壓力去感受和放空。可能也因此民宿裏養了小貓（小滿很可愛，小小一團還有一雙藍眼睛），有一個很通透的院子，還有一個陽光能透過天窗灑落進來的茶室，真的很不錯。 再説衞生和環境，每天都有保潔打掃衞生，房間裏每天都很乾凈，四件套沒有黴味也沒看到有小蟲子，很安心。床品是舒服的，即便媳婦兒認床也沒説過一次睡的難受。 最後想説的是服務，他們家好多服務都很細緻。免費的機場接送，每天都補的護手霜、消毒濕巾和一次性拖鞋，床頭就有的耳塞和蒸汽眼罩，有問題一發微信馬上就會回覆和處理的小哥哥和小姐姐，一切都剛剛好。 哪怕國慶節人這麼多，這次的遊玩和入住體驗依然無可挑剔。下次還會來大同的，也依然會住四時好。感謝民宿小哥和小姐姐的熱情招待

깔끔하고 연식이 오래되지 않은 숙소 조용하고 편안한 느낑을 줌 다만 주요 관광지와 다소 떨어져 있고 냉장고가 비치되어 있지 않아 다소 불편

帶狗狗入住完全無障礙，房東很包容，院落空間足夠小狗撒歡，乾淨無異味，對養寵人士太友好了，非常滿意！必須好評！
