The room was great! It was exquisitely decorated and very clean, and all the towels were disposable. The entire guesthouse was spotless and quiet. The service was excellent; I asked the owner for a humidifier because it was so dry. They were always up for a chat when I passed by, a perfect balance of warmth and attentiveness. The breakfast varied daily, and both the millet porridge and knife-cut noodles were delicious.

The luckiest thing about my trip to Datong Ancient City was choosing this guesthouse! The off-season price was very affordable, yet incredibly cost-effective. The location was impeccable, right in the heart of the ancient city, making it easy to get a taxi anywhere without any hassle of planning. The owner's warmth and hospitality were incredibly comforting. He sent me travel tips via WeChat and proactively inquired about my needs. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was spotless and odorless, and every corner was immaculate – a testament to the high standard of "cleaning after each guest," making my stay exceptionally comfortable. The most delightful surprise was the room's smart features. Voice control allowed me to control the lights, curtains, and air conditioning, eliminating the need to search for remotes. It was both technologically advanced and incredibly practical. In northern winters, insufficient heating is a major concern, but the heating here was just right, keeping the room warm and comfortable enough to wear a light jacket. From location and service to facilities, every detail showed meticulous attention to detail. It was even more comfortable than home! I've already recommended it to friends planning a trip to Datong, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!
