I did a lot of research on guesthouses before coming to Datong, and this one was absolutely fantastic, even exceeding my expectations! The guesthouse's decor was just perfect. Every corner was cozy, the furniture and warm lighting created a wonderful atmosphere, and the greenery and artwork in the common areas were stylish. You didn't even need to find the perfect angle; every shot was a picture-perfect post for social media. The owner and staff's service was absolutely amazing! We arrived in the evening, and they kindly recommended some highly-rated local restaurants nearby. They responded quickly to any questions we had during our stay, and we were taken care of very well – it felt like being at a friend's house. The environment was also fantastic, quiet despite being in a bustling area. There was absolutely no noise at night, allowing me to completely relax after a long day and sleep soundly. The location was a huge plus. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to Huayan Temple and the Nine Dragon Wall, making it perfect for exploring historical sites with friends or a romantic getaway with your partner. This trip to Datong was made even better by this guesthouse, and I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

A Perfect Ancient City Stay Experience The luckiest choice of my Datong trip was staying at the Muyunxuan Folk Hotel. The experience was absolutely fantastic, and I have to give it a shout-out! The location and environment are simply superb. Nestled near Datong Ancient City, the hotel boasts a prime location. Key attractions like Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple are within walking distance, and a stroll along the ancient city wall is just minutes away. The hotel itself is a delightful surprise. The elegant and warm Chinese-style decor exudes comfort and style, perfectly pleasing to the eye. Both the public areas and rooms are exceptionally pleasant. The cleanliness is impeccable. As someone with a bit of a cleanliness obsession, I have high standards for accommodation hygiene, and this hotel did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious and bright, the bedding was dry and soft, and felt spotless to the touch, with not a speck of dust even in the corners. The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, with no water stains or odors. Walking barefoot on the floor felt incredibly safe, showing exceptional care and attention to detail. The service was also heartwarming and attentive. From check-in to check-out, the staff remained consistently enthusiastic and responsive. Not only did they proactively help with my luggage, but they also thoughtfully shared travel tips for the ancient city, such as where to see the best night views and which time-honored restaurants were the most authentic. Their attention to detail was truly caring. Any problems I encountered were quickly resolved; they were as friendly as old friends, making me feel incredibly comfortable. Whether it's the location, cleanliness, or service, it's impeccable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Datong, and I've already recommended it to my friends who are planning a trip!

這次來大同旅行，最大的驚喜之一是找到了這個寶藏民宿，剛踏入院門就被這份古雅又治癒的氛圍戳中了，完全是我理想中的旅居模樣～坐落在大同古城仁和坊的獨棟院落，像從畫裏走出來的小院這是家新開的民宿，衞生細節超讚，完全滿足潔癖星人，我選擇的大床房，空間寬敞明亮，慕思床墊軟乎乎的，枕頭超級舒服認床星人也能睡個好覺。小愛同學語音控制超方便，躺床上就能開關燈、拉窗簾，控制空調，懶人狂喜！地理位置優越，步行可到達熱門景點，接待我們的小美女，態度温暖親切，服務周到，有求必應，讓人感到賓至如歸。總之這是值得N刷的民宿。
