Overall, I'm very satisfied. The B&B's location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk to the center of the ancient city. The room is tastefully decorated and well-arranged, with a full range of amenities from body lotion to laundry detergent. The breakfast and bedtime desserts are plentiful and delicious. The staff are warm and friendly, and they even offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off service, which made me feel very secure on my first visit to Datong.

This time in Datong, I stayed at ANAHATA B&B and chose the "Sheng" room. The entire environment was exactly as pictured! The moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the ambiance; the wabi-sabi style was so comfortable. The room even had an Audio-Technica turntable and a Marshall speaker, so lying in bed at night with some music created an amazing atmosphere. The large mirror in the bathroom and the Fumal toiletries showed the owner had gone all out. Even the bottled water was Elix spring water in eco-friendly paper bottles—the attention to detail was incredible! My favorite part was the small courtyard. I could pull up a wicker chair, relax, and sip tea—all my worries vanished. The best part was the coffee bar and food area; you could order a special drink and a pizza in your room and enjoy it at your leisure. There was also a Guangling paper-cutting experience; even those with no artistic talent could create a decent little craft—it was so satisfying! In short, it was a comfortable stay with a fantastic experience! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Datong!
