Hotel location in the center of the Datong old town area, by walking for 10-15 minutes, hotel clean and safe. (Note. Don’t have lift and breakfast to service).

The hotel was overall great, the only issue was that the fan in the bathroom was non fuctional or non existing and the door does not close completely.

Great hotel! With very friendly staff. Unfortunately the only little thing is that I found hairs in the shower when I checked in and also it takes a very long time before shower water gets hot (about 15 min).

The hotel offers a convenient location, reliable Wi-Fi, and numerous restaurants in the vicinity. My room was clean and well-suited to my requirements. Front desk personnel were consistently friendly and helpful plus generous complimentary bottled water and ice cream !!

I feel sad to give a medium score. The young man who .met me was polite, the young lady I saw a couple of times was friendly and helpful. Maybe it was because there weren't many other guests, but the hotel service seemed minimalistic,sometimes with no staff about. It is a shame because the hotel has lots of potential with its artistic design of the stairs and marble floors, its antique exterior, and proximity to the Ancient city and temples. Whilst the stairs are artistic and the staff helped me with my luggage, without a lift, it is not really geared to the elderly. Maybe the taxi driver dropping me off in the cold evening 10 minutes away set me off on the wrong foot.. Obviously, this was no fault of the hotel Dui bu qi..

Perfect location in old city, walk distance to all sites in the old city.
Room is clean, though a bit small. Environment is quiet even in busy tourst area.
Not comfortable with the open bathroom concept.
