The hotel is located next to the ancient city , therefore it’s a very good location . Rooms satisfying, breakfast was very good . Overall I can recommend , they offer a good price value .

I had a great stay. I got a free upgrade. The location is good, it's very near Ancient city. The girls at the reception don't speak English well but they were very kind and helpful. They helped me with directions to the tourist attractions Datong.

Great location right next to ancient city wall! Staff accommodating to western foreigners too :) room was nice and spacious, could do with a little update but overall a really nice stay. Breakfast was good too

Very nice hotel especially for the price and location that you get, we had breakfast included which was more like a lunch buffet but very nice. Only downside we experienced was a bug in the room and sadly getting bitten whilst sleeping as well.

The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, our room was very pleasant and the location just outside the old city was very convenient. Hotel breakfast and dinner were great and getting to see a drum ceremony performed for the hotel on our first morning was a bonus!

I had a very pleasant stay, girls at the reception, housekeeping and breakfast are very nice and willing to help. The hotel is ideally located to visit Datong's ancient city. Room on the 7th floor, really confortable, had all I needed.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in, bar none. It is no exaggeration to say that it is not as good as the small hotels outside that cost 50 yuan a night. The hygiene is ridiculously poor, and it is difficult for people to turn around in the small room

Check-in is slow. I used to go to other hotels and had to use two room cards, but this hotel only had one. I had to knock on the door when I went downstairs to get takeout. The door card was not sensitive. I couldn't open the door every day for two days. I had to go downstairs to swipe the card again and come back. It took a lot of effort to open the door.
