Before checking in, I was worried about the hotel's environment and facilities. Unexpectedly, after checking in, all worries were eliminated. The hotel facilities are very new, the environment is great, the room is very warm, and the hotel staff is very enthusiastic! In order to go to Datong Tulin in the morning, stay here one night in advance, Trip.com can arrange to live in the room of the cell building, can not live in the picture hotel room. Objectively speaking, as a hotel of any star rating, if it exceeds the number of guests it can accommodate, the experience for the guests staying in the hotel must be disastrous. Especially if it is a five-star hotel like this Liuying Hotel, service should be the most valuable standard. When a large number of tourists check in during holidays, it should have its own emergency service standards, rather than simply throwing people in and then be done. In terms of general service, I have already checked out at the front desk, and they kept calling me to ask if I want to extend my stay. This is too amateurish, just like not having access to the Internet. From the perspective of breakfast, it is just like going to a rural market. If you don't have the ability to serve so many customers at the same time, you can simply cancel the breakfast and save yourself from looking at all the empty plates in a daze. It is not like the noise in the south of the city. It is definitely comfortable and satisfying here. The service of the girl at the front desk is in place. She can think of the unexpected for you. Even if you get up early and go out on the road, you will help prepare breakfast in advance and eat on the road. SSirikornNice place, Nice location; you can walk to the Ancient town, I took along time to catch nice scene along the city wall, park and canal. To get the hotel from Datong South Railway Station by bus no.31 from the bus station side(the area is connected), take around 30 minutes to get there (Yungang Jianguo hotel, the hotel is opposite, only 2 CNY, many food and minimart around there. There is Muslim food there if need(next to the entrance of C(behind the building). Nice service, self check-in, clean room and relaxing. the owner, you should to contact the owner before arrive, she so friendly and always help you, she suggested us about the famous local food and restaurants(Thank you so much). If you need to buy some necessary item and cannot buy at the around minimart, you can walk to the Yonghui Superstore by East side (the next junction) turn right to Yuhe West rd. (At the corner). From the hotel tobget Yungang Grottoes, you can take bus no. 31 (Yungang Jianguo side), get off at Shi Li Dian Cun Xi ( West Shilidian village), cross to another side and catch bus no.12 to the terminal stop(is Yungang Grottoes. Take 1 hour or 1.30 to get there.

GGuest UserI went on a spontaneous trip with my friends. I chose this homestay because I was attracted by the decoration style of the villa. I stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. I have to say that it was really comfortable. The staff was enthusiastic, the service was in place, the station was picked up, there were fruit snacks every day, and delicious Tremella pear soup was delivered after the trip. All kinds of bottled water and drinks were free to drink. The breakfast provided was also very fresh, and you can arrange the time for the dishes in advance. The facilities here are complete, Dyson hair dryer, mousse bedding, projection TV, L'Occitane toiletries, which are very classy. The most important thing is that this is the Wulongxiang Villa District, the environment is good, it is really quiet, and I rested well at night after a day of play. The location here is not far from the attractions in the ancient city, and you can get there by strolling. Finally, I would like to thank the beautiful girl Xiao Zhang for picking us up and taking on multiple duties. Whenever I see her, she is either cleaning the room, cleaning the yard, watering the flowers, and wiping the tables and chairs in the yard several times a day. She is really hardworking and very attentive when I ask her for help. Datong, we will come again and choose to stay here again!

GGuest UserI did enough research before coming here and saw this B&B. I called for consultation at nearly 10 o'clock in the evening and was extremely patient in explaining. After arriving, I was not disappointed. The two children loved it. The aunt would usually lock the door, so the children could Feel free to play in the yard. When we were about to arrive, we told the time. Auntie turned on the air conditioner in advance and prepared fruit tea, which was super heart-warming. Breakfast was also extremely rich every day, and it was very cozy for the whole family to sit in the yard and eat. This B&B is right next to the commercial street. You can go shopping when you go out, but you can't hear the noise when you are in the yard. It is very close to Zini and Longjutang. It can be reached in a few minutes on foot. At night, it is just a short walk away. You can go to the city wall, admire the lights, and ride a bicycle together as a family. Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple are also nearby and can be reached on foot. Finally, I must say that the aunties at the B&B are all super nice. They are very nice and kind in both morning and evening shifts. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and will stay here again next time.

GGuest UserExcellent. Done in the traditional hotel style but with very modern in-room amenities. Bathroom is clean and private, with nice shower including good quality—free flow—shampoo and bodywash, clean toilet and a proper door (no glass bathrooms here!). It’s so hard to find a hotel room like this these days. Most importantly, all the staff were totally amazing, and the manager is so friendly and keen to help and can speak some English which makes things all the easier. There are quite a few shaokao and noodle places around the hotel, and importantly, the snowman drink place (蜜雪冰城) is not too far away! The hotel is just a couple of Ks south of the most popular entrance to the amazing ancient wall (大同古城), and in the other direction, about five hundred metres to another nice park called Mingtan Park where I flew my new drone for the first time ever while a local man practiced perfectly his Taoist meditation completely undeterred by the annoying whirring sound of the drone! My only regret is not planning more than a single night here. There’s so much more to Datong than just the Yungang Grottoes and the Hengshan Hanging Temple (though they are both totally spectacular!), so stay a couple of nights at least if you can.

VValentina’sWe spent two wonderful nights at Yungang Hotel in Datong. First of all, our deepest gratitude to Yang wen yuan - 杨文元. When booking from Europe, we did not realise correctly the time required to get to the caves and to the hanging monastery (a must view when in Datong). We thought that by using public transport we could manage to do both in a short period of time. So wrong! We arrived and Yang wen yuan - 杨文元 reassured us and in less than 30 minutes he was able to help and book for us a private car for the next day. He made our stay unforgettable. Thanks a lot from both of us if you are reading ! Plus, this hotel is wonderful : super new, technological and the staff is super kind (from the ones in the lobby to the ones in the restaurant/cafeteria). Breakfast is amazing. You can have everything, freshly made for you.
