We had a great sleep at this property, clean, friendly staff and nice location. Our car was safely parked in their parking lot. The air conditioning was not functioning and they changed us to another room. Hotel has food options next door in a nice local restaurant, nothing fancy.

Excited about staying there as it is a historic hotel. Took the upper floor suite. Loved the lobby and looking at the historic pictures on the wall. Disappointed in the suite though. Could have been so much better. Spent a decent amount of money for the room. Wish I would have downgraded (less expensive room). Doors were pretty cool but for a historic hotel they need to get rid of the magnetic cards. Go back to a keyed door. Breakfast was included. Would I go go back? No I would not. The hotel is distance from the central plaza. Only transportation I had were my feet. ****** though was right across the street if your into that.

A couple of streets of the beer park in a transit area and near the bus terminal that goes and comes from Boquete, the room is large as the bathroom, generally well, The only detail is that there are stairs from the street to the lobby and it's a little complicated to climb them if you travel with a lot of baggage, but that's all right.

I was very impressed. Julio was my contact online and he was very attentive. The entire staff from the front desk to the dining area were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The restaurant and rooms are nice and the workmanship is very good. I spent one night on my way out of Chiriquí. It made getting to my early flight easy. The included breakfast was wonderful with plenty of options and ample portions. The only negative would be the railings on the staircase were loose and need to be fixed. But they did not seem dangereous, YET. We will be back.

The surrounding environment is better, in the downtown area, there is a snack on the opposite side, there is fried rice fried noodles available, the left side of the street has a pharmacy, you can buy ordinary medicines, nutritional products, but anti-inflammatory drugs such as cephalosporins, need a doctor's prescription.

Check In. 3/5 Arrived park the car and went to check in. I had two consecutive bookings. There was 6 people around the desk and only a University student attending me. He was way over his head trying to check me In and then 5 other people came round to do this. 20 minutes later I was checked in Food 5/5 Service was excellent and the food for Hampton Inn was best I’ve had in this level of hotel. Bar 5/5 The barman was fantastic suggesting local drinks and was really friendly. Rooms 5/5 Immaculate spacious and clean with great views. Front Desk 1/5 I went to the front desk to see if they could book a restaurant for me in the evening. To my horror I was told to call the restaurant and book it from the room. Never in all the years as Diamond Hilton member have o been told to do this. Even though a speak a little Spanish it would have helped if one of the front desk could have done it. Also I was having issues dialling from my mobile phone. I am gobsmacked at the lack of customer service experience the staff has. My friend travelling with me asked if they could recommend coffee tours and he was told to Google it. The front desk is one of the worst I have come across at a Hilton.
