Staybridge Suites DEARBORN MI by IHG

I called days ahead to inquire about the pool bc the last time that we stayed there was an issue. I was assured that the pool would be open and everything would be ok.. upon checking in i was notified that the pool was closed but can go next door .. it’s 30 degrees and snowing . I’m not risking my children health to walk in the cold and snow to use an amenities that your facility assured would be available.. no type of accommodations were offered.. and the fire alarm continuously went off so they had all the doors open so it was freezing inside the hotel.. I had the heat on 90 and bc there was so much cold air coming in you couldn’t tell.. this was our 2mf terrible experience here .. I gave it a 2nd chance hoping that it would be different but def was a waste of $200.

Overall ok but update your issues Check in was late due to room not being fully cleaned by check in time. Pool was not working. The following morning prior to check out, pool was still not working, but front desk said it was ok to use. The water was a nasty dark green with a gross scummy foam covering the top of water. Front desk wouldn’t do anything about adjusting price or discount.

Overall this was a good property. The only downside was that when we requested additional items such as towels and wash clothes, we were told to check when housekeeping came. We never got any additional items just the normal set of four. No one explained about housekeeping on what services they provided and when.

What a clean hotel. Great breakfast. Quiet. Pool and hot tub are nice. Pablo at the counter is great! He was on to off everything for our stay. Thank you

Nice hotel for a family vacation Overall, the hotel was good and comfortable. The only creamer at breakfast was a Coffeemate creamer product that had sugar in it! Thus, it was not possible to have coffee with just cream (but no sugar). Who decided that this was a good idea? Morning coffee is a great thing on vacation, and I was unable to have this as a result (yes, we asked and no, an acceptable alternative was not available). Otherwise, the breakfast was fine.
