Had an absolutely deli meal in this gorgeous restaurant. Best grilled halibut I have eaten for years.

The location and rooms at this hotel are fantastic but the restaurant is a tremendous highlight. One of the best steaks I’ve had anywhere in the world and the service was flawless.

We had a really pleasent two Night stay on our way from France to Leketio. The views from the hotel were amazing. The room was very clean and nicely decorated and had plenty of space for the two of us and our two boys. The highlight was the food. It was probably the best we’ve ever had in the Basque. And that saying something!

We had a great drive to our stay at Hotel Ixua, the property was easy to find and this was also made easier due to the pre-arrival information provided, parking is plentiful. On arrival we were met by the owner Roberto, he was very friendly, polite and enthusiastic, Roberto treated us as if we were family. We stayed in Room 8, this is the suite at the top of the property, a few flight of steps to negotiate, but not a problem. The room was spacious, with all the usual amenities provided, there was nothing lacking, it was great. The view from the room towards the mountains and the town of Eibar were spectacular. All your dining is taken in the dining room, there is a great and varied selection of food and drinks to choose from. This is a great place to stay for 2 or 3 nights, we would highly recommend the Hotel Ixua, Roberto even came outside in the rain to say goodbye and wish us well

This is a wonderful hotel and deserves a rating of 10+! Staff so very welcoming, hotel so clean, dinner and breakfast delicious, sound proofing excellent, beds very comfy, easy to use showers, fantastic views - what more could you want?!?

Location is fantastic, the food was simple but excellent with a wide choice, wine list good and reasonable, room was lovely, a great variety of communal areas to take in the magnificent view. The highlight though was the hospitality we received from the staff, Roberto and his team could not do enough for us. If every hotel we stayed in was as good as this we would be very happy

We were on a road trip from Holland to Portugal. We were so surprised by the good hospitality and the fine rooms. Not to mention the view.

We had a fantastic one-night stay - clean rooms, comfy beds, amazing views from so high up. Staff were exceptionally friendly, greeting our family upon arrival, helping us with our rooms, and particularly the waitresses, really warm & helpful, serving us delicious BBQ'd food in their restaurant.

This place is heaven on earth. The views are remarkable and the people are so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be back. Thank you for such wonderful memories and remarkable dining experience.

As ever the roads around Bilbao are horrible.. but when back on the N634 and the switchbacks of the Bi3950 the hotel is a few short metres on the right, steep car park entrance mind. This is a country hotel with few amenities beyond your room, Restaurante etc. The food was great, if you like steak, ask the chef to show you!! The staff were lovely, good beer frozen Jarra. Modern bedroom and usual Spanish breakfast.

So beautiful location and hotel, staff is so friendly and food is delicious. Can recommend to everyone

There are a lot of space in the room, the place and view is excellent. Staff is friendly and you feel welcomed.

Booked only a couple of days beforehand for our trip to Spain. What a great place, the views are stunning and the staff friendly. Our evening meal was superb, especially the Ox steak which was grilled on the BBQ. My wife’s Hake was also superb and prices were extremely reasonable. It’s only about 5 miles from the main road but worth the winding treck up the mountain to enjoy the views. We would love to return.
