Dege Intangible Heritage Hotel

The hotel boasts excellent service, a pleasant environment, top-notch hygiene, and a great location. Both the manager and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The manager, in particular, is kind, generous, and handsome. After a long journey, staying here for just one night completely rejuvenated me.

Great location, only about a 10-minute walk from Derge Parkhang. The cleanliness was pretty good. My only minor gripes were that the sink was too low, so I had to bend over quite a bit to wash my hands, and the double room only had one bedside table, which was a bit inconvenient for placing things. The security guard at the entrance was very friendly and proactively helped me with my luggage all the way to the elevator. The room facilities were quite new.

The hotel is conveniently located by the main road and offers free, easy parking. The front desk staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy. They also provide a breakfast buffet. It's a good choice for a one-night stay before visiting the printing house tomorrow morning.

When I first arrived, it seemed pretty good, and the best part was the underfloor heating that warmed up quickly. However, the attention to detail was severely lacking, especially when it came to cleanliness. I saw bathrobes when I walked in, which is nice for the price point, but after a closer look, it would have been better if they weren't there at all. I don't even want to talk about it – oil stains were everywhere, on the bathrobes, towels, and bath sheets. I seriously doubt they were ever washed or disinfected. Bottle caps were still on the floor, and hair was scattered everywhere. There was hair all over the bath towels and inside the sink, and the bathroom floor felt sticky from some unknown liquid. Ugh!

First off, the bathroom had a puddle of water that hadn't been cleaned. For a room costing over 200, the window faced the hallway, which was a surprise. The 4G signal was weak, and the Wi-Fi was incredibly slow. I wanted to find the front desk, but there was no one there when I went down. Finally, when I tried to sleep, I discovered there was a KTV downstairs, so I barely got any sleep all night. For over 200, I might as well have stayed in a hostel instead of this dump.

The hotel is on the 5th floor and has indoor parking. The receptionist was very friendly, the rooms were unique, clean and tidy, fully equipped, and the bedding was excellent and hygienic. Highly recommended.
