Ganga Kinare- A Riverside Boutique Resort, Rishikesh

Starting with the culinary experience, it was awesome n unreal. Kudos to the chef for the sheer variety. The beds were super comfortable Overall the hospitality was extremely good with special.mention of Ms Sheetal Sharma who was on her toes to make out family trip memora ans it truly was. This was my third stay at Ganga kinare , which is testimonial to the fact of superior service . The private aarti n ganga snaan is the jewel in the crown.

Pure Bliss - everything was perfect. The hotel is ideally located on Ganga and has its own aarti where guests can participate. The food is amazing and everyone at Gange Kinara does their best to give guests an exceptional and very friendly service. We will definitely be going again as 4 nights were just not enough !

Great experience. Excellent location and ambience. The 'Ganga aarti' was one of its kind that I have experienced. The food was great. The breakfast spread was lavish with an excellent view of the mountains and the Ganges. The outdoor restaurant with the bonfires was a lovely experience at night.

Excellent location with the Ganges running by the doorstep where we did the Ganga Aarti on Shivratri rather than facing the crowds in Rishikesh which was just as spectacular the next evening. They have a priest that does puja every morning and evening which was unexpected at the temple on site about Ganga Mataji. The best part was the dining experience at their famous restaurant called Jalebi Besides having a very extensive vegetarian only menu that also included Western dishes the desserts and the Pahadi items - special from Uttarakhand were really tasty. The service was great, very warm and attentive despite being so busy around Shivratri weekend. There is still the Best part coming...Melodious live music at dinner and instrumentals at Breakfast. Didnt feel like leaving the resort even after a 4 day stay. Will tell my entire family when the visit from the US to stay here.

This is a perfect riverside resort. A boutique hotel with its own private ghat well within the city. They have their own ganga aarti in morning as well as evening. The main attractions are not too far from here as well, just 10-15 mins drive away. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We booked a room with the river view and it did not disappoint at all. The breakfast had an elaborate variety to choose from. The staff was courteous and helpful. Even went for a body spa and the masseuse did not disappoint. The sauna at the spa was amazing and refreshing. The hotel even has a gaming area. Overall, it is a good budget hotel which is situated at the banks of the Ganga.

The hotel has a lovely location on the bank of the Ganges. The view from my room was breathtaking and it was great to be able to access the riverside path from the hotel garden to walk away from the traffic chaos. I attended the included yoga and meditation classes every morning of my stay. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good and there were surprise little extras - a welcome gift, chocolates and hot water bottles brought round in the early evening.

From the impeccable service given to us by Anuj, Saurabh and Sujata who helped make our stay so comfortable to the luxurious amenities especially the jacuzzi , every aspect of my experience was truly exceptional. It's been a pleasurable stay of two nights during the month of Feb, specially the way the staff took extra care of a solo travellers like me. The room was cozy and clean, good food excellent service and the entire staff including ***agers are so courteous . I am coming back soon and will surely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Earlier we stayed at Ganga Kinare in 2018 and that was the memories dragged us to this property again. Even after 3 times higher room tariff to other 3-4 star properties we decided to stay at Ganga Kinare. To our utmost surprise the quality of services and food has drastically fallen. This now remains only so called boutique hotel, it seems this is only having fake publicity. At the time of checkin you will got the sense of how badly customer care staff will treat you. We raised this On raising issue of bad attitude of one of the lady staff to the ***ager Mr Ashish and to utmost surprise he started favouring her and rather started arguing us which literally was very humiliating before my kids. Our previous memories of Ganga Kinare got shattered. Apart from the behavioural issue, the food and service quality has totally crashed it like road side dhaba and not of so called 4-5 star boutique hotel. Even 3 star hotels staff have much better behaviour and food quality. Ganga Kinare are charging more than 5 star hotels with humiliation as addon. Beware if you are booking with any Himalayan Hotels group it’s seems ***agement is not bothered about the customer priority and satisfaction. If you go there they will see photos at reception of their ***agers with all film stars and high profile personalities. This will give you feel you are no more having equal right of honour and respect from them and they can take you for granted as have paid 100% non refundable advance with no option but to just pass your time somehow there. Issues: 1. Staff are rude seems they are not at all from hospitality sector. Beware of higher ***ager they are more rude. 2. Rooms and bathrooms are not clean 3. As claimed Firefox cycles are not there but some local brand in bad condition which you cannot able to ride 4. Jacuzzi is dirty and no staff available for care 5. Kids zone are without attendent 6. Menu options at breakfast and dinner are very limited 7. In High tea you will have chilla and biscuits with cold tea 8. Cookies kept at rooms are soggy and seems half used The only plus factor remains with Ganga Kinare is of its location and if any other option are available at bank then I would suggest to go with that instead of wasting your hard earned money here. Very sad experience with my family and friends. Naveen
