Wuyou Hotel

Escaping the Chinese New Year rush, I brought my family for a short trip to Moganshan. The air in the mountains is absolutely incredible – so fresh and invigorating, just wonderful! We chose Wuyou Mountain Villa, located right inside the scenic area, and the location is truly fantastic. You can drive right up to the entrance, and the housekeeper greeted us with a warm smile and directed us to parking. Nearby attractions are within walking distance. It's a hundred-year-old villa; the room wasn't huge, but it was decorated warmly and simply, making our stay comfortable and reassuring. My favorite part was the balcony outside the room. Sitting there, you get panoramic views of the continuous green mountains in the distance, watching the clouds slowly drift by. It's incredibly relaxing and the experience was superb, highly recommended for a peaceful getaway with family.

The room was spotless. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The hotel's location on Yinshan Street is super convenient for all the attractions.

This time, my stay at the Worry-Free Resort in Moganshan exceeded my expectations! When booking, I didn't notice there was a package that included entrance tickets. When the staff contacted us and we provided our license plate number, they carefully explained how to buy tickets at the best price. Our room was on the second floor, but they were doing renovations on the walls of the hallway that day, so they proactively asked if we wanted to upgrade to a family room on the third floor. The room was fresh and simple, yet retained a touch of the Republic of China era style, different from those retro hotels—this type is exactly what I like! The location is superb; we parked right next to the resort entrance. The view from the balcony was unbeatable, and it's within walking distance of famous attractions like Jianchi (Sword Pool) and the place where Mao Zedong stayed. It faces the Luhua Dang Hotel across the street and is adjacent to the Queen Hotel. The lights of Luhua Dang were quite beautiful to see from the balcony at night. The young lady at the front desk and the young man with glasses were both very kind and considerate, always putting our needs first. The restaurant food was delicious, and they gave us a 10% discount. The value for money this season is incredible—highly recommended!

My sister and I took a ride-sharing service from Suzhou. The owner had contacted us in advance and sent the license plate number to the front desk, so we got there smoothly, passing through only two checkpoints – quite fast! We booked late, and only the first floor was left, but the door had floor-to-ceiling windows, leading directly to a viewing platform with a great view. The room had sandalwood incense and a dehumidifier, making it dry and comfortable. We ate lunch at the restaurant; the portions and food were great, especially the braised pork – absolutely delicious! The accommodation was close to several major attractions. In the afternoon, we visited nearby sights, walking along the mountain road to the cathedral. There was occasional fog or light rain in the mountains; it was slightly cool for the season, but not bad. The owner was very welcoming, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was quite plentiful, including hot multigrain porridge, fried rice, black and green tea, milk, juice, toast, various side dishes, grilled meat slices, eggs, and vegetable and meat buns, etc.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very welcoming, making me feel right at home. The only downside was that the soundproofing was a bit poor.
