True to its 90s state-run guesthouse vibe, and from a guest's perspective, I can accept the outdated decor and even tolerate the mediocre food. But please, don't just rely on the beauty of Moganshan to draw in guests. The hot water takes 5 minutes to come on, the restaurant staff wear ununiformed outfits, and as for picture 1 below, do you know how it feels to see those two lights on the night of Qingming Festival? 😅 I hope even state-owned hotels can feel a sense of shame and then strive to improve, manage better, offer better service, catch up with the times, and be worthy of those four-digit holiday room rates.

The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk staff were professional and friendly. The hotel's location is excellent, as it's part of the Moganshan scenic area itself. There's a Starbucks inside the hotel, and we saw many tourists specifically coming to the hotel's observation deck for photos.

This hotel is an old-school five-star, very quiet and built right on the cliffside. The surroundings are beautiful. They even gave us tickets to the Moganshan scenic area, and driving up the mountain was super convenient. Excellent value for money! Dinner at the hotel restaurant also got a 20% discount! Great experience, definitely coming back for a summer escape!

The hotel has a bright ambiance, and overall, it's a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is quite good, especially the yellow eel dish which is delicious. The service attitude is excellent, and both the coffee and milk tea are really nice.

The parent-child room in Guanhai Building is of moderate size, with a large bed and a single bed. The bedding is very complete. The hotel is on the top of the mountain and very quiet at night. The lobby decoration is OK, and there is a public activity area. You can watch the sunrise and the stars from the second-floor platform of the main building. It is far from the mountain. I saw the stars on Friday night. It rained on Saturday and Sunday, and there was a lot of water vapor and fog. Fortunately, I saw the sea of ​​clouds on Saturday afternoon. When I drove down the mountain on Sunday, there was a lot of fog on the mountain and visibility was very low. I had to drive slowly. It was very smooth to drive up and down the mountain. If you go up the mountain from 8.00 to 17.00, you need to go to the South Gate Ticket Office, which is a little further away; at other times, you can go in and out from the East Gate. The mountain road is steeper and the distance is shorter. I personally feel that there are fewer types of breakfast. You can order dishes in the restaurant. The prices of meals on the mountain are actually similar. It depends on personal taste and consumption concept.
