Moganshan Manting Garden View Holiday Villa

The location is excellent; you should be able to see the sunrise from your upstairs room. It snowed on New Year's Day. The view was stunning, highly recommended. Because the building is old, those sensitive to noise should consider staying on the second floor.

The hotel has a great environment, located right inside Luhua Dang Park. The view from the terrace is fantastic, and the park is just outside the door. It's also very close to restaurants on Shanyin Street, only a few minutes' walk away.

Choosing Yun's room was the right decision; the maple trees were right outside the window. The owner, housekeeper, and staff were all very friendly. We also ate at the hotel for both nights, and the food was excellent. After this stay, I realized that Rui's room is also a great choice during maple leaf season.

This weekend, my family and I visited Moganshan to enjoy the autumn scenery, coinciding with the peak season for the red maple leaves. Our accommodation, the Manting Garden Villa, was conveniently located, just minutes from the Baiyun Mountain Villa parking lot. It was also easily accessible from various attractions. The Jingyi Villa, formerly the residence of Kuomintang elder Zhang Jingjiang, boasts expansive views and stunning scenery. Next to the villa stands the renowned "King of Red Maple Trees," its fiery red leaves a vibrant and eye-catching sight. From the hotel, facing Naked Castle, the view is unobstructed, offering a panoramic vista of the mountains. We were incredibly lucky to witness the sunrise from the villa's large terrace. The mountain air was exceptionally tranquil in the early morning, free from the noise of tourists—a major advantage of choosing a mountaintop villa. While the villa showed some signs of age, the interior was fully equipped and impeccably clean. The auntie in charge of the catering was excellent; we ordered her set meals, which were generously portioned and delicious. I especially recommend the local chicken soup and the braised pork with dried bamboo shoots. Our butler, Xiao Li, provided attentive and considerate service, patiently answering all our questions throughout the trip. Upon learning that one of our group members was over eighty years old, he specifically reminded us to bring hiking poles. When we arrived, he even personally went to the station to greet us and help with our luggage. Overall, it was a very pleasant and unforgettable autumn trip.

A very satisfying stay! The guesthouse has a superb location within the Moganshan scenic area, housed in a century-old building. The environment is especially beautiful, with several stunning red maple trees in the courtyard! You can even enjoy the sunrise under the maple trees without leaving the courtyard. The service was particularly noteworthy; the handsome receptionist helped us with our luggage, and the owner took many beautiful photos for us, especially the sunrise photos he took early in the morning, which touched us deeply. 💕 I will definitely choose this place again next time I visit Moganshan.

The rooms in this century-old villa are quite nice, the surrounding environment is excellent, and the hotel offers great value for money within the scenic area. The service was excellent; the butler picked us up and helped with our luggage, and the landlady was very friendly, introducing the sights and responding to any requests. A very good hotel, I would definitely stay here again next time I have the chance.

The price is a bit high, because the environment is not worth it at all, the transportation is terrible, and the cost is high.

I was bombarded with photos of Moganshan's red maple leaves, so I chose this place. It's villa number 48 and very close to some popular photo spots. However, the rooms were really basic. I booked a balcony room with a view of a ginkgo tree from the pictures, but when I arrived, the ginkgo tree was completely bare. It was disappointing. I'd say it's not suitable for families.

Living in the mountains is all about tranquility. I won't say much, just look at the pictures. The hotel is in a good location, with convenient transportation but not noisy. The housekeeper is very considerate and will explain the route to the hotel by car and help with luggage. The hotel is located in the center of Moganshan Scenic Area, not far from anywhere.
