Moganshan - Designer Hot Spring Resort Homestay

Upon arriving at the parking lot, I was immediately struck by the expansive view of the pale yellow lawn and dark green mountains. Staying in the "Dai·Extra-Large Courtyard Private Hot Spring Room," the gentle warmth of the wood tones enveloped every detail, and the floor-to-ceiling windows framed the bamboo forest and mountain scenery like a flowing painting. Soaking in the courtyard hot spring was incredibly relaxing, and while brewing tea around the stove, I could watch the sunlight dance in my teacups. The rooftop and the back mountain were perfect for photos, and the common area was fully equipped with board games, audio-visual equipment, and karaoke. The auntie's freshly cooked hot noodles and crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside waffles for breakfast further enhanced the sense of relaxation in the mountains.

We took our mom and kids on a weekend getaway, and this guesthouse was a wonderful surprise. The environment was tranquil, with an endless expanse of rice paddies right outside the window – a truly unobstructed view and perfect for taking photos. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be when it's lush and green. Our room was clean and tidy, with bamboo views from the window – so pleasant! The landlady was incredibly friendly and welcoming; we even enjoyed a hearth tea ceremony in the afternoon, instantly immersing ourselves in a relaxed, slow-paced atmosphere. The food at the guesthouse was also delicious, with a genuine home-style flavor. Even better, there's a hot spring to soak in, and the first floor offers a variety of recreational facilities, making it perfect for family trips or gatherings with friends. The location is also convenient, very close to Yu Village. And it's pet-friendly! We're already planning to bring our dog next time!

The terrace room offers a panoramic view of the beautiful Akita rice paddies. We visited during New Year's Day, and the onsen (hot spring) was free, with photo opportunities set up. Apparently, the onsen is also free during the Spring Festival. There are two private onsen rooms with courtyards on the first floor, and pets are allowed. The breakfast selection is plentiful, and there's also a hearth tea ceremony; there's plenty to eat, drink, and do.

The environment was absolutely stunning! The room window offered views of lush green hills and lawns, and the private hot spring was right next door. Lying there sunbathing felt like living inside a landscape painting. The food was also a delightful surprise. The wonton soup at breakfast was incredibly delicious, and the strawberries and green grapes were sweet and fresh. The tomato and egg stir-fry and braised wild boar at dinner were also perfectly to our liking. The butler service was excellent; the staff even escorted us to the visitor center.

Drawn in by the stunning view of the rice paddies from the window in the first picture, the terrace of the "Li" room offers an especially beautiful view. In a while, the rice paddies will be even more golden and vibrant, perfect for taking photos. It's said to be one of the five rice paddies in Deqing. I highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway to Moganshan; it offers a naturally therapeutic experience and is perfect for relaxing.

Before check-in, the butler sent us a travel guide and led us through backstreets to the town. They also recommended great restaurants on the street – so thoughtful! The surrounding area is very convenient for sightseeing. The mountain forest rafting is just a 5-minute drive away, and the firefly base is also nearby – perfect for taking amazing photos at night. When you're tired from playing, you can return to the guesthouse and enjoy Hongjie's private kitchen and afternoon tea by the pool. Even on a hot day, the service was incredibly warm and welcoming! Highly recommended for those seeking a cool respite in Moganshan!

This is a very cozy guesthouse. The manager and owner were very welcoming and provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was good too. The guesthouse's swimming pool has its water changed daily, and the kids had a great time!

We stayed in a bamboo room, which the landlady, Sister Hong, said had the best view. The lush greenery outside the window was so soothing! The little yellow ducks in the pool added a touch of life, and there were children playing in the pool in the afternoon. The weather was also fantastic, so we enjoyed afternoon tea by the pool while feeling the breeze. In the evening, we went with Sister Hong to pick cucumbers and peaches and taste the freshest farm-style dishes. Friends visiting Yingxuan must try Yingxuan's private kitchen! There are also many other activities at the guesthouse. On the basement level, you can play board games and watch movies. Outside, there are thousands of acres of rice paddies where you can frolic, take photos, and immerse yourself in nature. It was a truly therapeutic trip!
