Landison Joykie Resort Moganshan

I booked a mountain-view king room. The room was spacious with a separate wet and dry area. A thoughtful touch was the small round table, perfect for friends to work or play cards. There was also a two-seater sofa, and from the balcony's glass window, I could look up to green mountains and pines, and down at the clear blue swimming pool – it felt really comfortable. There was even a bamboo drying rack on the balcony! On the night of check-in, we received complimentary welcome fruit, which was of excellent quality. The hotel has its own restaurant. Breakfast offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options. Lunch and dinner were à la carte; although the selection was limited, the food was tasty. The restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated. Nearby, just a short walk away, is the 'Jade Garden,' a nice spot for a stroll or a short break. About a 10-minute drive away is Yucun, a very unique village worth visiting. I had planned to check out the 'Cave Cafe' but was rained out, though I did get to see a beautiful rainbow as an unexpected bonus! My only suggestion would be for the front desk staff (the younger team members) to be a bit more enthusiastic. It was actually the older uncles and aunties who proactively greeted us, which was a nice touch.

The hotel is very close to Yaowu Scenic Area, and the hygiene is excellent. They even provided complimentary fruit upon arrival and gave us some snacks when we checked out, which was very thoughtful. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Aside from a few spacious rooms facing the pool, which were lovely, I can't really comment on the others. The first room I was assigned had a strong musty smell. After I requested a change, they kindly moved me to a room overlooking the pool, which was great for photos. The hotel's service was good; they even gave me a big bag of snacks when I checked out, haha.

I expected a hotel built in 2017 to be older, but I was surprised by how well maintained it is. The triple rooms all come with breakfast, making it perfect for a family trip. The staff were also very welcoming, and I especially want to commend the restaurant staff. On ***** New Year's Day, the farmhouse restaurants outside were packed, so we returned to the hotel for dinner. Although they only had set menus, they substituted dishes we didn't like, offered us sunflower seeds and peanuts, and even gave us the hotel's own white wine. It felt like I was home for the ***** New Year. I'll definitely choose Radisson Manor on my next trip to Moganshan, and I wish the hotel continued success.
