Cozy Rest Motel

The room was clean and the staff friendly. It is an old motel but was perfect for a quick stay while on the road as it is inexpensive.

This was a no frills place to stay but the room was nice and the front desk guy was friendly. If you are looking for a cheap but nice place to stay, check them out.

Good room, bad bed. The room i stayed in was nice, they didn't have much for toilet paper in the bathroom though, but it did have a nice big shower. My only real complaint was the bed, it was hard as a rock.

A little upcoming gem in Des Moines! The rooms are better than what you typically get for this price and they are upgrading the hotel to be an affordable boutique hotel in the area. The owner, Dennis, was very kind. If you are on a budget, definitely don't let the outside turn you away. Appreciated my stay.

They are currently remodeling the outside of the motel. The room was as nice or nicer than hotels twice the price.

Get what you pay for We found the accommodations OK. We were in town for the State Fair and just needed an air conditioner, a bed, and a shower. The shower did not have much hot water or pressure. The air conditioning is a window unit, so it was a bit loud, but it did drown out the street noise. The room was clean and adequate for our needs, and the price was right. The facility is old and looks a bit sketchy, but the receptionist was kind, helpful, and friendly.

I was completely surprised how nice this hotel was. I found it to be clean, quiet, and friendly.

Inexpensive with Easy Access to Downtown Inexpensive stay in a location with easy access to the downtown. I'll stay there again.
