avid hotel CHICAGO O’HARE – DES PLAINES by IHG

I reserved a king bed. The room was a decent size with a large TV in front. The room was cool and maintained this tempature all night. No complaints on the AC. They had an ice machine with white buckets on the first floor. The rooms look recently remodeled. Bathroom was clean and the glass shower is a standing shower.

Superb spacious hotel with great facilities, super clean and the best night receptionist ever! My son left his mobile in the Uber and Muz went above and beyond to help him get it back from the Uber driver. This receptionist was the most friendliest, most helpful and nicest guy we have come across. The Avid Hotel are so lucky to have him and we would not hesitate to stay at the Avid again. The breakfast lady was also amazing and super helpful. Fantastic hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Clean modern hotel at a good price. There is a shopping mall across the street with many restaurants.

Location is clean, staff are friendly, breakfast attendant kept food well stocked. This is our second time staying, but this time around our shower didnt work. We only stayed two nights, so we dealt with the low water pressure.
