"The hotel location is very good, as it is very close to Bangi Water Park and easy to access other places. The surrounding area is full of restaurants, and there is also a playground for kids, which makes it a great place to spend time with family. However, cleanliness should be improved. The refrigerator needs proper cleaning, the toilet door was dusty, and the toilet floor was not very clean. Overall, it is still a good stay."

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic 2 nites stay. Upgraded us to junior suite, likely due to they noticed my birth date on my identity card during check in. Celebrated my birthday in the hotel. Top notch service at all levels. All the F&B outlets offered quality foods. Will be back.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent. We arrived at Kuala Lumpur Old Railway Station from Penang by train, and the hotel was right across the road. There are two subway stations nearby, and both the National Museum and National Mosque are within walking distance. The hotel service was very thoughtful and attentive. The breakfast was rich and varied, and we had an unforgettable Chinese New Year 🌷🌺💐. We'll definitely stay at The Majestic again! 👏

CcmbcTraveling to Kuala Lumpur for Chinese New Year, I saw a lot of good reviews on Trip.com and booked a 4-night stay. On the very first day, there was a power outage. I woke up at 3 AM because of the heat. The next day, after being out all day, I returned to a completely dark hotel lobby – no electricity. My room had power, but no hot water. After a long day of sightseeing, I couldn't shower. I was too tired, so I just went to sleep, and finally had hot water in the morning. On the third day, I came back again to no hot water. When I asked the front desk, they said it would be an hour until it came back on. I was so annoyed and hung up. Luckily, Trip.com's international team was constantly helping me communicate. Thankfully, it didn't completely ruin my trip, but it did make the vacation a bit unpleasant. Trip.com told me they'd never encountered this situation before, but it definitely happened to me.

AAnonymous UserThe room was clean and functional, but the layout felt a bit impractical. The bedroom area was quite small, making it slightly cramped, especially when moving around with luggage. In contrast, the toilet and bathroom space were relatively large compared to the sleeping area, which made the overall layout feel unbalanced. Another downside was the lack of a smart TV. Without access to streaming apps or screen mirroring, the entertainment options were quite limited, which may be disappointing for guests who prefer modern in-room amenities. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of choices available. However, the dining area was very noisy, and the tables were placed close together, offering little privacy. Additionally, I was initially brought to a table that had not been cleaned, which affected the first impression of the service. On a positive note, the swimming pool facilities were a highlight of the stay. The slides were especially enjoyable and added a fun element to the overall experience. Overall, the stay had its strengths, particularly the breakfast variety and pool facilities, but improvements in room layout, dining atmosphere, and service attentiveness would make the experience much better.

66676****I booked the Sky Suite for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day quite a while in advance. The room was spacious, and both the bedroom and living room offered views of the Petronas Towers. However, the room windows were quite dirty, which made photos turn out poorly. The cleanliness was excellent, and there was plenty of bottled water in the room. We received welcome fruit, but it wasn't provided daily. If the hotel were more thoughtful, they could have offered something like sweet soup on subsequent days, as we couldn't finish the fruit. The room rate was quite high; at 6,000 a day, it felt a bit overpriced. We stayed for three consecutive days and didn't even receive a souvenir. The essential oil in the room smelled nice, and I particularly liked the scent of the essential oil in the hallway. Here are a few areas that need improvement: 1. The air conditioning was too cold and couldn't be adjusted above 24 degrees Celsius. 2. The faucet in the sink had no buffer, so water would splash all over you as soon as you turned it on. 3. The main bathroom light was linked to the exhaust fan, which was incredibly loud. Any time you needed more light, the exhaust fan would also turn on, creating a lot of noise. 4. Room soundproofing was poor; we could hear noise from both the hallway and the bar upstairs. 5. The duvet was too thin, and because the air conditioning was so cold, we froze at night. The swimming pool was nice, but there was only one changing room. I'd recommend changing in your room before going for a swim. The rooftop bar charged 1200 MYR for two people on New Year's Eve, and the fireworks were terrible. Overall, this hotel offers very poor value for money.

GGuest UserAfter a long search, I chose this hotel. I booked a suite, and check-in was on the 50th floor. I was very satisfied with the environment and service, and there were complimentary afternoon teas at different times. I stayed in room 3922, and my biggest complaint was that a whole building blocked the view from the floor-to-ceiling window, which was extremely unpleasant. The front desk said all suites face this direction, so there was nothing they could do 🤦‍♂️. Also, the room cleaning was very sloppy; the tables weren't wiped, my clothes and socks were left untouched, and the shower hose in the bathroom was fixed and couldn't be removed. The string lights in the living room were too low, making it uncomfortable to walk underneath. The water pressure in the sink was also incredibly low 😂. It was truly an unpleasant stay, and I won't be staying here again. Aside from the issues mentioned above, everything else was fine. The location was okay, within walking distance, but it's best to avoid taxis due to terrible traffic.

Iikhsan mujahidinThe hotel didn't note down the request which I personally called up(forgot to take down the person name) just to make sure all is followed up and I wrote down on the remarks collum when I made the booking again just to make sure. Firstly I need to wait for like 30mins even when we already came quite late at 5pm. We've been told the room is not ready. Only 1 room is ready but unfortunately we received the wrong room as we booked king bed but was given twin bed. Then we're told to wait for like 30mins even when we already came quite late at 5pm. We've been told the room is not ready. Only 1 room is ready but unfortunately we received the wrong room as we booked king bed but was given twin bed. I personally called just to ensure to have the particular room a connecting room(twin+king) only then I will book an extra room as initial plan was to only have 1 room probably make do with the bed or add additional bed. Since I already called up and they ensure all is been taken care of that's why we decided to place the booking unfortunately we didn't receive that as been told firstly fully booked. It's for 3 nights, if we're to know about this much earlier we would have not wasted the money to have make the extra room booking. On their end they didn't have a proper communication or even probably didn't record the remarks when I made the call as they are not aware when we told them about this. We got no choice but to just make do with the rooms. Not that we got a choice to refund or given any other options. On the other hand , they helped to decorate the room as my daughter just got married. The deco was done in the evening after we checked in and left the room only got the surprised when we're back.( This was supposed to plan or arrange during check in but they're not aware) Another to note that, our rooms they didn't give us bottle water to consume. Although there's filter tap on the bathroom but we didn't receive any bottle water. Already disappointed with the service especially it's our first time here.

NNidia GogoIt was my first time staying at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur. I have stayed at other InterContinental hotels in different countries, and unfortunately this was a disappointing experience. When I arrived, I was asked to provide a deposit with a credit card. I do not have a credit card, and since I had already paid for my stay in full in advance, this situation made me feel very stressed. I understand that deposits are common, but the way it was handled caused unnecessary anxiety. I tried to pay the deposit in cash, but the ATM inside the hotel refused all of my cards, which made me even more nervous. In the end, the staff offered another option, but the whole process felt uncomfortable and poorly explained. I am also an IHG member, and no one asked about my membership during check in. I had to mention my IHG number myself, and it did not seem to make any difference in the service or recognition. When I entered the room, I noticed that the toilet was quite old and made noise throughout my stay. The cleanliness of the bathtub was also disappointing and did not meet the standard I expect from this brand. During breakfast, which was very good in terms of food quality, I felt overwhelmed by how often the staff tried to engage in conversation and ask me to complete surveys about the service. One day, I was asked twice. While I appreciate attentiveness, it felt excessive and uncomfortable. Additionally, one staff member made a personal comment about my appearance, saying I was “so pretty,” and repeatedly asked whether I was staying alone. These comments and questions made me feel very uncomfortable. As a guest, I expect to feel safe, respected, and not placed in awkward situations. I was so uneasy that I left breakfast early, even though I was still hungry. I later ordered room service. The food was fine, but the Singapore Sling cocktail was not good at all and did not meet expectations. Overall, this experience at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur did not reflect the level of comfort, professionalism, and respect I have experienced at other InterContinental properties around the world.

PPenny_DThe Four Seasons, as always, is excellent. I'm very satisfied with my choice of accommodation. It's about a 15-minute drive from the city center, but the commercial area right outside the hotel is already very convenient, with plenty of food, shopping, and drinks available. The breakfast was incredibly rich; I stayed for two consecutive days and found 20% of the dishes were different each day, which was a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely choose the Four Seasons again on my next visit. The service is exceptional, and the hygiene is top-notch. Remember to bring your swimsuit and don't miss the swimming pool on the seventh floor!

LLaGiLSoNWhat a fantastic Hotel, the design so unique and we got the best view. Just the Car parked to the Hotel sign was not so clear, the Hotel Logo/ name so small. As the lobby not at Ground floor, it at Level 66, we went to wrong entrance 2 times, notice there was the other hotel, and second was another entrance for lift to other place/ level.
