Jayleen Clarke Quay Hotel

I chose this hotel for an overnight layover in Singapore. Its location is excellent, quite central, and not too far from the attractions. The room size was a bit small, and the facilities were a bit dated. However, for just one night, I couldn't ask for much more. Overall, it offered good value for money.

It's smaller than I expected, and there's no space to open a suitcase. However, the water pressure is strong, and it's quite cozy, so I slept comfortably. On the other hand, the location is excellent. Clarke Quay is right in front, and Song Fa Bak Kut Teh is right next door. You can even cycle to Marina Bay with a shared bike, or walk there. There are bus stops and an MRT station right in front of the accommodation. I had a very comfortable stay.

The location is excellent, but the facilities are a bit old. The air conditioning works well, and the quad room with bunk beds is perfect for groups. Having a 7-Eleven downstairs is super convenient!

We booked a triple room. It's convenient that the sink is outside the bathroom. There's a kettle in the room, along with coffee and tea sachets, which is a plus. A huge bonus was that breakfast was included in the price. We liked it; it was quite varied, buffet style. (There were eggs, broccoli, rice, beans, some fruit, coffee, cream, toast bread with a toaster, etc.). It was enough for us, we felt full. The location is convenient – Clarke Quay MRT station is just across the road. You can get anywhere you need from there. The floors in the room were a bit dirty, but we didn't pay attention to it. There was also air conditioning, for those who care. We didn't use it much – we opened the windows instead, as it probably needed cleaning. Overall, for such a reasonable price, we are happy with the hotel. One more request for the hotel: please add clothes dryers to the rooms (things don't dry well in the bathroom).

The apartment's location is excellent and super easy to find. It's quiet, so everyone can sleep undisturbed, and the shower works great. The main selling point is definitely the good location.

The room was clean and tidy, but the natural light was poor, and it felt damp with a strong musty smell – like that humid, stale odor. Breakfast had limited variety, though they did offer rice, congee, vegetables, milk, bread, and fruit. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to most attractions, which was super convenient for walking everywhere. Big thumbs up for that! I forgot to take photos of the room, so I'm using one I found posted by someone else. Overall, it was still pretty good.
