The accommodation was beautiful, had a quiet atmosphere, and blended well with nature, which I really liked. I also appreciated being able to use the hot spring privately at my preferred time. My only regret is that I didn't get to use the yukata because I didn't ask how to wear it. I feel like if I had, I could have taken many more beautiful and atmospheric photos!

We had a wonderful stay at Kumo Inn. The traditional Japanese-style room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The private onsen was the highlight of our stay and made the experience truly special. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful nature made it the perfect place to relax. The communication before arrival was clear and check-in was easy. I stayed here with our 5 year old daughter and felt very welcome. Unfortunately, we couldn’t complete the Hakone Loop because the ropeway was suspended due to bad weather. That was of course beyond the accommodation’s control and it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the stay. If we return to Hakone, we would definitely stay at Kumo Inn again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing Japanese experience.

This is a wonderful place nestled in the forest. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor baths, and the best part is they're private, so families or friends can relax and enjoy without worrying about other guests. The ryokan staff were all incredibly kind, making it feel just like home. (They offer Japanese, Chinese, and English services, so I think international guests can stay here comfortably.)

Surprisingly delightful Japanese-style guesthouse. Even though it's called a guesthouse, it's still managed by staff, and it's incredibly clean and tidy. They also have private indoor and outdoor hot springs that you can book. I'll definitely book again on my next visit.

The room is clean and spacious. There toilet and bathroom have to be shared but is very well maintained and clean. There is indeed a private onsen with reservation . If you come with car, be sure to make reservations of car park which is very limited

Excellent, very traditional Japanese-style room. The bathroom and toilet are shared but very clean. Don't take the train to Gora, as it involves climbing a long flight of stairs; I recommend taking the bus to Miyagi-no-bashi. The staff patiently explained the precautions to me in English. The onsen (hot spring) is available in 6 rooms, with 50 minutes per room based on reservation time slots.
