Adaaran Select Meedhupparu - with 24Hrs Premium All Inclusive

The island is beautiful, in fact it’s stunning. The staff are amazing, friendly, chatty and welcoming. They will do anything for you. The beach villas are basic but comfortable, but be aware, if you don’t take bug precautions, you will get eaten alive by mosquitoes, and you will definitely have some live in baby lizards running around at night. My only complaint is the flies are a real problem in the dining rooms and bars. It’s almost certainly a place to unwind, with nothing to do, apart from water sports. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. Really really enjoyed our vacation. Go soon, because climate change is eradicating these beautiful islands at an alarming rate. Thank you to the staff and managers for an amazing experience, the resort is a credit to you all.

Just returned from another wonderful visit to meedhupparu. The island is amazing. It is absolutely gorgeous so relaxing and chill out. This was our 4th visit to Meedhupparu and there have been a few upgrades/changes for the better. As well as keeping the authenticity of the Maldives. Thank you to all the staff from the moment we arrived including Anton, Sumiya, Hari, big man at Cafe Mass, all the staff at Thaava Restaurant all excellent. A special hello to Kepe the captain in main bar and pool bar. In fact a a massive thank you to all staff cannot remember all the names. Rooms are very well kept and cleaned which we thank our room boy gratefully. He was excellent. The groundsmen were polite and excellent. A walk round the island everyday was wonderful. Meeting people saying good morning. Well done to all staff including management very impressed again. We would certainly recommend Meedhupparu for a holiday escape. Thank you all. Will return for definite. Thank you for a wonderful holiday again.

The outdoor shower was amazing , the unlimited cocktail , amazing staff , the amenities . Everything is all beyond our expectations. The highlight was the toasted Coconut ice cream that was one of my favorite .. I had great experienced with jetski and the most memorable one , I was able to swim with the turtles and fish. Snorkelling overthere was the best one ive ever done .

We had a superb holiday at this beautiful resort. The service & friendliness of all the staff was exemplary they couldn’t do more to make the guests welcome. We stayed in Villa 166 which is on the north side and is in an excellent location for snorkelling around the Reef. Ali Hameed kept our Villa spotless, please pass on our gratitude. I’d also like to mention the following staff for their friendship & service, Suppaa, Soyona & Janitha in the Jaafaiy restaurant, plus the Barmen & waiters at the Sunset Bar for the endless supply of drinks. Hopefully we will visit again soon

We had the most amazing time here, staying in a beach bungalow near the Albino bar. Our room attendant kept it spotless, topping up our mini bar daily and turning down our bed each night. Everywhere was always clean, the restrooms smelt lovely. Debbie at the pool bar was always very attentive and kept us supplied with cocktails. Mickie, our waiter in the main buffet restaurant was exceptional. Always greeting us with a smile and asking about our day, before bringing our drinks. My husband and our friend called him 2 beers Mickie. The food was great, always plenty to choose from. The ice cream was fab.

A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY FOR OUR FAMILY OF 4 (MUM, DAD, 16 & 11 YEAR OLD GIRLS) AUG 2ND - AUG 13TH Travel. We flew from Manchester to Dubai (7 hours), then from Dubai to Male (4 hours) with Emirates. Great flight. Great service. Good food and selection of drinks on board including the choices of veg/vegan/halal/low salt etc before you fly. From heathrow there is a direct flight. There is also an option to go via abu dhabi or bahrain. Transfers: We opted for the speedboat & domestic flight which took around 35 + 40 minutes respectively. Kinda wish we had gone for the seaplane as its 35-40mins from Male and you are there and there was less waiting around. I guess it depends on when you land but we had a 2 hour wait for the domestic flight which is a pain after all the travel. You can check the scheduled domestic flight times but there are no guarantees your flights will land on time etc. There is an option to upgrade to seaplane at the resort but it get mor expensive the closer you get to your deaprture so if you want to book it for the way back - do it early. They were charging $300 per person the day before. Baggage: You may have 30/35kg on your main flight but watch out for the small print on the boat/domestic flight/sea plane - some only allow 20kgs. Dont overpack. I didnt wear half of the clothes i took. Its realxed all coverups and throw on dresses. People dont really "dress up" in the evening. You just dont need to. (unless you want to). Most people dont wear shoes around the resort. Bugs/Mozzys: We took the leather wrist bands (amazon £8 for 12) and jungle formula etc and we didnt get bitten once. Some people advise to empto the water bowl (for washing feet) at the back of the bungalow as water attracts them but we didnt have an issue. Plug ins provided in both rooms by the hotel (nice touch). Accomodation: We stayed in 2 beach villas next to each other. English plug sockets in The Maldives (bonus) for us. Plenty of plugs for straigthners, hair dryer, chargers etc. Options - You have the option of delux beach villa (more recently renovated), sunset villa (in a good location to see the sunset), family villa which is basically 2 interconnecting beach villas, but they are all the exact same size in floor space. We loved ours (243 & 244) in a horseshoe arrangement and near the beach (see the video for location). Sleeping arrangements. In the beach villa there is a double bed (or 2 single beds if you ask) they can bring in ONE small zed bed for one child but I would not reccomend for 2 adults and 2 children. They will expect a child sleeps in the double bed with the parents (which would not work for our 11 year old). This was not communicated by our agent and in the end due to there being no family villas left we booked a 2nd beach villa which worked for us. The kids were close enough to not worry but gave them independance which for a minimal upgrade cost made it nicer all round but be aware they will take a booking for 4 people in a singl
