⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic and beautiful stay on a local Maldivian island Our stay at Stone Hotel Dhiffushi was simply wonderful. If you’re looking to experience the Maldives from a local island, with real interaction with the community and away from the typical overwater resorts, this hotel is a perfect choice. The hotel is new (around 2 years old) and very well maintained. The beach is stunning, with white sand and crystal-clear water, and the rooms offer spectacular views, with unforgettable sunrises and sunsets. You can practice yoga with views from the infinity pool or directly on the beach, which makes the experience even more special and connected to nature. The staff is outstanding, always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Special mention to Óni, who is always smiling and makes you feel at home from the very first moment. The food is excellent and varied, very well prepared. The excursions organized by the hotel are incredible, from snorkeling with turtles to encounters with sharks, all very well organized. If you like football, every day at 8:00 pm you can join matches with the local community, a great way to connect with island life. As a final highlight, the New Year’s Eve party was spectacular, with fireworks and excellent organization. The hotel is located just 35 minutes by speedboat from Malé, making it very easy to reach. A truly authentic Maldivian experience, highly recommended if you’re looking for something different from the typical resort stay. Si buscas Maldivas desde una isla local, con contacto real con la comunidad y lejos del típico resort sobre el mar, este hotel es una elección perfecta. El hotel es nuevo (unos 2 años), muy bien cuidado. La playa es preciosa, de arena blanca y aguas cristalinas, y las habitaciones ofrecen vistas espectaculares, con amaneceres y atardeceres inolvidables. Puedes practicar yoga con vistas desde la infinity pool o directamente en la playa, una experiencia muy especial y conectada con el entorno. El staff es excepcional, siempre amable, cercano y profesional. Mención especial para Óni, que te recibe siempre con una sonrisa y hace que te sientas como en casa desde el primer momento. La comida es excelente y variada, muy cuidada. Las excursiones que organiza el hotel son increíbles, desde snorkel con tortugas hasta encuentros con tiburones, todo muy bien organizado. Si te gusta el fútbol, cada día a las 20 h puedes unirte a los partidos con la población local, una forma muy bonita de integrarte en la vida de la isla. Como broche final, la fiesta de fin de año fue espectacular, con fuegos artificiales y una organización impecable.
