The most amazing experience in my life. Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff and service and a fantastic guide who took us around the rain forest. So glad I experienced it.

What a fantastic lodge up in the sticks of the Quito cloud forest. Loved every minute there. Great birding and the butterfly breeding area is amazing. Special thanks got top all the staff there but especially in the restaurant Fabricio, Jorge, Xavier, and our guide Andreas who was great at his job and so knowledgable. Would have liked to see some bird feeders closer to the lodge but maybe that would spoil the enjoyment of tracking the them. The cable car and bike ride (Dragonfly) also fantastic to see and do across the forest canopy. All incredible , thanks again for a great 3 nights there. Roger and Denise Sargent.

Mashpi lodge is a fabulous place, a unique hotel with rooms looking out to the rainforest. Gabriel our naturalist guide made great efforts to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible, seeking out creatures and birds in both day activities and night walks, we had such a varied and fun experience at Mashpi. The hotel staff were so helpful and the food was very good with great service to match. A superb experience.

Anddy was a fantastic travel advisor and secured us a great deal, as well as support before and during our stay. We had a fabulous time at Mashpi Lodge, with special mention to Santiago, Sharon, Nestor, Darwin and Edgar. The whole experience exceeded our very high expectations. Mashpi really is a very special place. The Dragonfly is a must and we thank Anddy for including this within our package.

Mashpi Lodge is an amazing place! I went to enjoy the Cloud Forest, thinking I would just sit and relax, but there were so many activities that I ended up doing several things and enjoyed them all! The place is immaculate, the service is fantastic, the food was delicious and the staff were professional and friendly. Several individuals stood out from my stay: Fernando, Lizardo and Edison being among the many people that went out of their way to make my stay more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

Not only was the lodge and surrounding area gorgeous but the service and attention to detail amazing. The room, services and food first class. Our waiter and guide made the experience incredible as did the entire staff at Mashpi. Highly recommend this place.

Truly a unique experience in one place where you can be in touch with nature across a rain forest, Cloud forest and tropical forest

Mashpi was magical. Beautiful lodge, fantastic staff and exceptional dining. Environment was amazing, activities were great. Guides were fantastic. Saw so many beautiful birds and sites. Highly recommended. Would love to return.

Andy did a fantastic job planning our Ecuadorian adventure. I highly recommend Andy Males. The trip was well planned and there were no problems.

Our trip to Mashpi was FANTASTIC!! From the time we arrived to departure, we were totally taken care of in every way! I have never in my 62 years had such AMAZING service in dining, tours/adventures, accommodations, guides, and travel assistance!! I/we have stayed at ***** star resorts, and did not receive that kind of care. We had such an incredible time at Mashpi - everything was perfect! I have to comment on how delicious the food was, and the wonderful fresh fruits & vegetables that were available on top of the menu choices! This place is a once in a lifetime total experience that we will treasure always!! I also must comment that we had many parts to our trip to Ecuador & Galapagos, and Anddy Males organized & detailed everything seamlessly!! From transportation from the airport (12:30am) to the Hilton Colon, to/from Mashpi to Casa Gangotena, the Old Town/Middle of the World tour, and to the airport to Santa Cruz… all was lined up! He was super to work with, and went above & beyond communicating, emailing, texting, and phone conversations to make our trip perfect! I can’t find the words to express my sincere gratitude to Anddy!! He was a pleasure to work with, and will definitely look to him for our next adventure! Thank you, thank you, thank you Anddy!!

Great hotel. It was beautiful inside and out. The service was some of the best anywhere. The activities were great and well planned. The food and drinks were wonderful.

Staying at Mashpi Lodge was absolutely amazing experience From the moment we arrived we felt like on different planet Everything about the lodge was perfect , beautiful rooms exceptional food and stunning nature around. All the staff and guides were always ready to help us with anything we needed. On walks through the Mashpi cloud forest guides would answer all our questions about all the animals . Our family had such a nice time in Mashpi. Especially thanks to Anddy from the office who helped us to organise our stay planning. As we were travelling from Australia not knowing much about beautiful Equador. Thank you Mashpi for beautiful memories for our family

We were immersed into a beautiful cloud forest at Mashpi. Our transfer from Hotel Casa Gangotena went on time. The roads were a little wet with the small amounts of rain. Our guides met us with a refreshing ginger pineapple welcome drink. We gad a delicious lunch snd then the first hike. Over the next two days, we had hours of green lush forest and hundred’s of butterflies and birds. Our waiters were excellent especially Dalton. The entire staff focused on our safety and enjoyment. (This is a second review because our first didn’t post).

The Mashpi experience is one not to be missed! We had a variety of activities…the walk in the river, refreshing dip in the waterfall, riding the Dragonfly gondola, a visit to the life center and the hummingbirds area. Truly one of the best experiences. Our guide Jacky was fun, caring and very knowledgeable! She made sure we had the best time and had lots of facts too! Highly recommend…the restaurant is Michelan for 2025. Again outstanding variety and preparation. Thanks for the great time!
