Best Hotels in Dives-sur-Mer

We spent a great weekend in this small town by the sea. The hotel is in line with its price and starship, the room has everything you need. Dense curtains, comfortable bed, everything to sleep perfectly. From the balcony, a beautiful view of the river is open. In the morning is a pleasant breakfast in the hall (for a separate fee). Free parking, attentive staff. Nearby a lot of beautiful French towns, especially recommend visiting Onfleur. Huge delight caused the fact that live rabbits ran on the parking lot in the evening! It 's so nice!

There are plenty of parking spaces outside the hotel, and there are many small gardens outside to sit and relax. When you go out, you can turn right and walk for a few minutes to the beach. The riverside scenery is also beautiful. There is a coffee vending machine and a food vending machine in the hotel. There is also hot soup in the coffee vending machine. There is also a microwave oven that can heat food. The breakfast is 3.5 Euro per person, but because we brought a lot of food, we did not choose to experience the breakfast here, but the environment at the front desk including the restaurant is very unique. I chose the triple room when I booked it because it was cheaper when I booked it, and there was an extra upper bunk. There is a bottle of shampoo, bath, and face in the bathroom. I use my own. In addition, it will have a small soap and three disposable cups. There is nothing else. So if you need it, bring your own kettle, toiletries, etc. On the left side of the house is the lidl supermarket, leaderprice, gas station, and repair shop. It takes about 3 minutes to drive to a commercial center. There are supermarket intermarche, supermarket géant ******, brico selling tools, and garden supplies. Because there was a problem with our car, we found what we needed in intermarche and brico, so we found it before driving far, so we were very happy.

Welcomed by a lovely lady whose English was better than my French. Easy check in and room was clean and well laid out. Room cleaned every day and fresh towels supplied If you are on a budget this is the place and add to that secure parking, we rode down on Harleys so secure parking is a must, it was a great hotel. Right next door to McDonalds and Buffalo Grill so easy to get fed and watered Close by os petrol stations

Hotel well located, Small and quiet rooms, litter and covers to be reviewed, right breakfast, thalasso space well, only bemol: the sauna should be changed ...

If you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.

Thank you for being easy to deal with over a change in booking due to COVID travel restrictions. Looking fwd to visiting as soon as possible. Looks like a great hotel and looking fwd to visit the region.

We have stayed with my husband for one night. The room is really basic, lacking any nice touch and amenities, there is actually nothing there. The paper cups in the bathroom , plastic flower, hairdryer is attached to the wall like in the 90s. More cons: the room isolation is really bad, you can hear someone is going to the toilet next to you :)) For the advantages: Good bed with the perfect mattress Location, it’s 5 min to the beach Very clean

We booked 5 nights at the Hotel Mercure in Trouville-Sur-Mer as part of a package deal through Brittany Ferries, arriving on Tuesday 23rd August 2022 and departing the following Sunday. Doing so gave us a considerable saving on making both bookings separately, and the overall Value for Money rating is based upon this fact. This was also our first proper holiday/mini-break without the children! We were very pleased with the hotel. Its location is superb, just 2-5 minutes walk to the beach, and within minutes (or seconds!) walk of lots of local restaurants. It’s also possible to walk across to Deauville (at low tide - 1€) and get the ferry across (at high tide - 1.5€) should this be of interest, or else just take the longer 15min+ walk.... We had a Standard/Classic room, and initially it seemed the bedroom element was a bit “snug”. However, we had a decent sized bathroom, and once we had unpacked we found room to store everything successfully as the bedroom had everything we needed and enough storage space. The hotel was clean, and our room was cleaned daily. Indeed, the bathroom cleaning undertaken each day was exceptionally good, and we were very impressed. The breakfast buffet each morning was superb, with a choice of all sorts of things you might expect, but also including the ability to cook your own eggs to your liking, warm your own pancakes and crepes and squeeze your own oranges! There were a wide variety of tasty food options available, and we were glad to see the emphasis on fresh local produce and the deliberate avoidance of single-use plastics. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful, and special thanks must go to Chloe (?) - who always had a smile to give us - for advice on restaurants. We were impressed that there was a Brita water fountain on our floor, able to dispense chilled still or sparking water for our bottles whenever we needed it, without the need to buy yet another plastic bottle of water. A minor issue is that the hotel does not have its own car park, and we had to use the public car park opposite. However, when we arrived parking was easy. We just needed to enter the car park and get a ticket, park, check-in, then get a special card from the hotel for us to be able to use one of the limited number of hotel reserved spaces within the car park. This then involved us exiting the car park with the ticket we already had (paying 1.8€) and re-entering with the hotel card. This meant we only paid 20€/day rather than the normal 28€/day. We noted that on some days the car park was full, so being lucky enough to get a reserved space was essential as parking in the town more generally can be a nightmare at times. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and we hope to come back soon! Merci beaucoup!!
