The hotel itself is impeccable, except for the cleanliness – it was very dirty, with dust everywhere. I specifically informed the cleaning staff, but there was still dust visible everywhere! The restaurant on the first floor was absolutely delicious, and the service staff were warm and friendly!

1) Location Not in the city center, but not too out of the way either. The lake view is unbeatable, and the twin room offers lovely views. The best part is the free tram #96 that covers the entire city for free. 2) Service Typical Caucasian service – they greet you proactively. The restaurant food is also typical Western fare. 3) Overall Having traveled to most European, American, and Southeast Asian countries, I honestly feel Australia is the best! It's perfect for a relaxed lifestyle, with a laid-back and free way of living. Would visit again! 👍

1. The location is excellent. The hotel is right on the riverbank, making it convenient for walks, shopping, dining, or taking the tram to the city center. It's also within walking distance to many places. 2. The night view of the Yarra River from the room is beautiful (I recommend booking a river view room; city view can be a bit noisy). 3. The room decor, with its wooden elements and green plants, feels warm and elegant. 4. The gym has great views, and the spa area is comfortable. 5. I didn't get to try breakfast because I couldn't wake up, but my friends said it was very rich and made-to-order (highly recommended). However, the room service meal I ordered was a bit disappointing (not recommended). 6. Finally, a big shout-out to Trip's customer service for their prompt replies and effective communication, and thanks to Ms. Shan from 1Hotel for handling everything. This is my top choice hotel in Melbourne.

Overall, pretty good. It's great for walks along the river, and there's a Woolworths right across the street. Amenities: The pool facilities are well-equipped, with both a sauna and a steam room. However, the pool water was a bit salty, possibly because many people were using it. Maybe it needs more frequent changing. Also, the water pressure for the shower in the room was a bit low, which could be improved. Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was good. Service: Good. The doorman smiled at me when I got out of the car, and the front desk staff were polite. However, for this price point, bottled water in the room still costs extra. The main issue is its misleading placement – while the mini-bar is obviously paid, the bottled water was placed right next to the tea bags, making it easy to grab and drink, only to find out it was nine dollars a bottle. That's a bit much. Environment: Quite nice. However, the river view wasn't ideally positioned; it was at an angle.

This is a great hotel! The room layout was well-designed, separating the living and sleeping areas nicely. The river flowing peacefully right by the hotel was a lovely touch. Waking up to the curtains opening in the morning and seeing that view really started my day off right. I'm so glad I booked this hotel; I had such a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable vacation here.

An excellent hotel experience, my apologies for the two-month delay in writing this review. We chose this hotel for our honeymoon in April, as it's one of only a few locations worldwide, which always builds anticipation. Before arriving, I emailed to inquire about honeymoon amenities. Helen from guest relations promptly replied and arranged everything seamlessly: early check-in, complimentary champagne, chocolates, and a welcome card. Upon arrival, the service from the concierge to the front desk, and even in the guest rooms and breakfast restaurant, was outstanding. Everyone was energetic, and their smiles felt genuine. They never seemed unhappy, even without a tip. Breakfast had a touch of the Edition hotel vibe. This hotel provided the best experience during my Australia and New Zealand trip. (There was a high percentage of Caucasian staff; while I don't judge based on skin color, many other hotels had staff with inconsistent service standards. Here, everyone provided excellent service with no signs of discrimination – at least overtly). The eco-friendly design made us feel immersed in nature. The hotel is conveniently located near an elevated bridge, making it easy to get around with the business car service. Shopping across the street is also very convenient, and it's just a few stops to Chinatown and the city center, perfect for a city walk too! Highly recommended.
