A beautiful hotel, absolutely loved it! The owner/manager Denis was really nice and gave us complementary chocolates, and wrote a nice card for us. He's doing an excellent job, the hotel is gorgeous with authentic vintage decor, and walking distance from Southern Cross station!

Fantastic room in a prime location...definitely enjoy the historical atmosphere, the home like environment and the great hospitality offered by Dennis, their manager! 😀

Cleaning isn't daily; you'll need to maintain the room yourself. Service is entirely in English, but the front desk closes in the evening, which might be inconvenient if you have any urgent needs later. Overall, I recommend staying here; it's a good experience.

We forgot to book a hotel for one night. After we made a last-minute reservation, the front desk helped us merge the orders and also upgraded the room type for free. Thank you very much! The downside is that there is no good food near the hotel and it takes a while to walk to the CBD

I have been busy since returning from Australia, but I always remember that I owe the Melbourne Grand Hotel and its enthusiastic and responsible staff a five-point praise! I flew from Perth to Melbourne that day, took the skybus from the airport to the Southern Cross Station, and walked for ten minutes to the hotel early in the morning. I originally planned to store my suitcase and borrow the bathroom to wash and change clothes, and then went to the surrounding breakfast and sightseeing. The night shift was not off work yet, and the cleaning lady had just started work. They saw that I was tired and embarrassed, so they said that the room type I booked had just been checked out, and immediately arranged for cleaning work. I waited for about half an hour and checked in early. After going out and returning to the room, I also received a handwritten welcome message from the duty manager and very delicious chocolates, which was very thoughtful! Very heartwarming! This hotel is only separated from the Southern Cross Station by a road, and then you have to walk more than a hundred meters along the hotel house to the hotel front desk. The Southern Cross Station is close to the hotel. Woolworths is on this side of the hotel, and Coles is on the other side. The surrounding dining and shopping are quite convenient. You can walk to the Yarra River or the city center, and you can take the free tram a little further. The room is loft style, fully equipped with kitchen facilities, and very comfortable. This is my second time in Melbourne. This time I choose a better hotel than the last chain brand five-star hotel. I will stay here again if I have the chance to go to Melbourne in the future.

The housekeeper is very nice. He worked overtime to wait for us since we were late.

Treasure Hotel~ I stayed in Melbourne for several days. After staying in a modern hotel for a few days, I wanted to experience the flavor of an old hotel with a sense of history. I originally wanted to book a Windsor hotel, but found that it was not convenient because it was east of the CBD. City Walk accidentally discovered this old Victorian building opposite the Southern Cross Railway Station. I placed an order in advance. I passed by the lobby the first night and asked the administrator if I could store my luggage in advance and then check in that night. The answer was no problem. , and also asked carefully about the specific requirements. It was past nine o'clock when we returned from the Great Ocean Road that day. I received a warm reception. After checking in, I wanted to pick up my luggage, only to find that help had already been sent to the room in advance. The extra bed had been laid, and there were handwritten welcome cards and candies on the table. . The house itself is an old-fashioned apartment that is rented on a long-term basis. Each floor is an L-shaped corridor, with a total floor height of six floors. The room we booked was a loft-style suite with a kitchenette and living room. The overall facility decoration is relatively old, but very clean and tidy. There is a swimming pool, restaurant and small library on the ground floor. I personally feel that the price is reasonable and the transportation is convenient. It is suitable for those who want to experience the old-fashioned style and do not have particularly high requirements for accommodation conditions.

The lady at the front desk and the uncle in charge are also so nice! He was humorous and gentle. We forgot our room card one night, and he opened the door for us and changed the card after 10 o'clock in the evening. When we checked in, he also gave us a handwritten letter and chocolates, which was really nice! And the location is good, so traveling is very convenient.

It's very quiet, the swimming pool is great, and the room was upgraded. I can't say enough more than satisfied.
