We stayed in this hotel when we visited Kasi as part of our pilgrimage tour to Ayodhya, Kasi and Gaya. Our stay was very comfortable. Room was specious and very clean.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at 'Palette Heritage Scindia Ghat formerly East View'. Despite paying 100% advance through Agoda and OYO, they cancelled my booking last minute, twice. The rooms didn't match the online photos, and many didn't have the promised river view. The location is hard to access, breakfast isn't provided, and the staff is unresponsive. The hotel's proximity to Manikarnika Crematorium means it's often polluted with smoke. I requested Hotel Manager Mr. Vikram to honor my OYO booking, but he demanded a higher price just two days before my visit, citing Kumbh Mela rates. Despite my full payment, they cancelled my booking, forcing me to cancel my entire trip, including flights, and incur significant losses.

I booked 2 deluxe ganga view rooms by using goibibo, at the day of check-in hotel denied booking & goibibo gave refund instead of blacklisting the hotel & giving us the alternative hotel, we travelled from Mumbai to Varanasi for temple visit & was standing stranded in cold night with place to go such a horrible experience
