We stayed for 2 nights after moving from bungalows just up the road. We wished we had stayed at Mama Leurth for our entire time in Don Det. The rooms are a good price, clean, spacious and good air con. Also, lots of room to put your stuff if you are backpacking. The staff were very nice and helpful. Highly recommended

I recently stayed in Little Eden (also called Dondet Hotel) with my partner. This review needs to be read in the light that it is intended in that accommodation offerings in Don Det are limited and not of a high standard. Also, the island is only just reopening post covid. The hotel is fine - it’s a little tired but it’s clean. The bathroom, like all bathrooms in low budget hotels, is a wet room. It was clean and spacious. There are no bikes to rent / borrow and you need to source that from another shop on the island but that is relatively easy. Contrary to the photos there is no pool. The current partnership has broken down and the pool no longer serves the hotel. Do not expect to be able to use the pool. Breakfast is ok but basic - bread rolls; pancakes and eggs with some limited fruit offerings and cordial rather than fresh juice. The staff are nice but some of their English is below standard, however, the owners English is exceptional and she is very helpful.
