Claremont Hotel

Every member of staff from top to lower was most helpful, friendly and kind. I was always treated with the greatest respect when I arrived as a solo traveller and was then joined by a group and then a solo traveller again. Absolutely nothing was regarded as too much trouble. They were all a credit to the hotel in whatever capacity they were employed. Thank you most sincerely.

Really enjoyed myself this day the breakfast at this hotel is fantastic on the chef is really accommodating to special diet people the room was away from the road so it was nice and quiet so I actually got plenty of sleep

Lovely hotel with great breakfast options and friendly staff. Only let down for us was our room was in a corner with only a wall outside the window with no air flow so the nights were very hot and sweaty. No air conditioning and only a little fan in the room to blow the hot air around.

Lovely hotel in very central spot. Promenade just across the road so lovely see few from lounge and restaurant. Very good breakfast options

Only 1 person to clean 20 rooms so something had to give. Dinner on first night was poorly cooked and badly presented. Never had breakfast on any of the 4 mornings during our stay as we were not told by Claremont or Hotels that it was included. Great confusion over pricing and manager was nor initially helpful and it took a full blown argument in reception to make him do something. As yet we have received no written confirmation of refund agreed.
