I visited the At Caladonia three years ago and wondered if it would be the same. It was excellent back then and wondered if it would still be the same. I was not disappointed! The hotel is managed by lovely Chinese people, very polite and friendly. As I had booked only two weeks previously, I wondered what the room would be like. Room 12, at the back of the building, was amazing. It was a huge twin room with a large bathroom, a bath with shower give you the option of bath or shower. The room had an alcove where the wardrobe and tea/coffee was situated. It was obvious that the room layout had been different years gone by. The furniture looked new and everything was spotless. As it was a back room, the view from the windows was of a cliff behind the hotel, however, not a problem to me. I did sneak a look at other rooms on the same floor whilst the cleaners were around, they were all as good but different layout. The breakfast was very good but was not included in the room rate. However, I had a huge discounted price on the room so paying for it wasn't a problem. Regarding mobility, as its an old Victorian building, there are steps up to the entrance, however, there is a lift to most floors. I would certainly recommend the At Caledonia and was not disappointed.
