This hostel was very beautiful and comfortable. I ate dinner on the porch and watched the sunset. I slept in the female dorm and it was very comfortable and clean. I'm only knocking a star because some of the messages I received before I stayed with excessive rules and which bathrooms to use during quiet hours felt over the top and unwelcoming the way they were communicated. However it was still a very nice place to stay.

Phenomenal experience, this was everything I was looking for and more! I was on a last minute trip and luckily the Airbnb host I had reached out to became non-responsive for a last minute check-in so I called Teton Hostel Hideaway and easily made my reservation by phone with Beth, the owner, and arrived a half hour later to my private room with a comfortable queen bed. It's halfway to the ski area in a stunning country location with great sunrises and sunsets. This is a big, beautiful log home that has been a guest lodge for 9 years. It was great to have breakfast foods available and the living room gets bathed in sunlight in the morning which was very enjoyable for morning coffee and reading about the family history of the owner, who grew up on the property and is surrounded by relatives who homesteaded in the area. During a lovely visit with Beth over coffee I learned about her non-profit that she founded in the Phillipes building small hyrdoponic lettuce growing operations to give homeless youth a source of income. She spends much of the winter there setting up amazingly simple systems that produce stunning amounts of marketable lettuce, which is then sold for income, giving people meaningfuly jobs as well as a source of income. I was enthralled by her photos! If you wanted to cook meals there then the open kitchen would make that easy, but Driggs has amazing food, including top notch Thai food at Bangkok Kitchen. The house was nice and quiet, with a few other guests around to keep it from seeming empty. The other staff member was very friendly and accommodating. Self check-in was a breeze, and I left feeling rejuvenated and lucky!
Response from Property: Wow Paul, Thanks for such a great review. It is really appreciated! So happy that you enjoyed your time here. It was great visiting with you. Thanks for your interest in my nonprofit for the street kids in the Philippines. I hope you and your wife can come visit another time. Summers are amazing here as well! :) Thanks for staying!

I ended up staying three nights here, and I had only planned on one! It is extremely cozy, clean, and quiet. Everything you could possibly need is there. Highly recommend as a place of refuge near the Tetons! I have stayed in many hostels around the world and this is an all time favorite
Response from Property: Thank you so much for the kind review. I'm so happy that you enjoyed your time here. Thanks for staying!

Fantastic house. It is a mixture of a hostel and a hotel. We had the hotel version like a Garni-House. We had a huge room and bathroom. The owner gave us great tips and everything worked just great. All was in a real good condition and very clean.
Response from Property: Thank you so much for the kind review. Happy that you enjoyed your time here. Thanks for coming. Beth

Teton Hostel HideAway B&B Driggs We left before we brought anything in. Yes, ITS THAT BAD~ 854763868 This place is disgusting. DO NOT believe those pics they post. Those rooms dont exist. They have a dank, filthy basement. It is NOT well maintained. Furniture looks like it came from a junk yard or found on a street rotting. Nothing in the pics fits what this is like in real life. My husband and I walked in, we purchased a private room and bath. At 64 years of age, the last thing I need is a basement subpar bed with filthy brown carpet, a dark closet, a window so dirty you cannot see out with a dirt bike parked next to the window. They couldnt even be bothered to mow the grass or trim the area where the drive is to be. Not visible by the road, you must drive down a brush covered driveway. The place is so bad the owners wont even stay there. We called and asked for an explanation and "beth" says, thats what you asked for, take it or leave it. I took pics and I plan on making sure they are seen by the the proper authorities. Too many rules even when you can use certain bathrooms. You cannot flush toilets, talk, or any other activities after 10:30PM. Its just plain disgusting. We left immediately and found a great place down the road. They welcomed us and got us settled in with no problems.
Response from Property: This is an EXTREMELY exaggerated lie! First of all you booked a room with a SHARED bathroom. It even says that in the listing that you booked it on. Blue and Green Room with Shared Bathroom! The basement has 9 foot tall ceilings, a very large window to let in lots of light, bright lights in all the rooms and TV/game room. We do not have a lawn, it is ALL wild grasses! And what do you mean by the place is so bad the owner won't even stay there? It is my home and I live there! :) And I did not say those words when you called. I pointed out that you booked a room with a shared bathroom and since you should have known that I would not refund you. And you also are not honest about the quiet hours. Of course you can talk and flush toilets after quiet hours. Only the one bathroom by the room you were to stay in because it has a pump to pump the water up into the sewer lines in the ceiling and it is very noisy. If you had stayed there and guests had been flushing the toilet while you were trying to sleep you would have complained about that! And that is why we ask guests not to use that bathroom during quiet hours. There are 2 others to use! If you go check out our reviews on booking, *******, FB, etc. you'll see that we have excellent reviews so obviously this a very flawed review. You are angry because you of your mistake not realizing it had a shared bathroom and me not willing to refund your money because you should have known that. You are just unjustly lashing out for that reason. I'm glad you found a great place to stay down the road. :)

Clean and QUIET which is what we wanted. After a day in the National Parks it was nice to sit out on the balcony and watch the sitting sun reflected off field sprinklers a mile away. Look to the east and you’re looking at Wyoming and look to the west and you see Idaho. Linda Lou was informative and nice.
Response from Property: Thank you for your kind review. I'm happy that you enjoyed your stay there. I too love seeing the sprinklers in the fields!

For the price the location is fairly priced. It's about 1.5hrs from the Tetons. There are close hikes within 20-30 minutes. The internet is stable, free hearty breakfast, and nice porch. The shared room was a bite small for the number of beds and the did are left open during the day which lead to food inside.
Response from Property: Thanks for your kind review and thanks for staying.
