Maybe I expected too much, but overall disappointing. Felt like pampering the old lady so we went with the honeymoon suite. The jacuzzi was nice, but kind of falling apart. There was something sticky spilled on the bed side table, the mirrors around the tub were smudged all over, and least important but worth mentioning, the television in the room was tiny. It's 2023. Why are there 50" TVs in the lobby displaying stupid slideshows that nobody gives a care about, when the flipping honeymoon suite has a 32" Samsung from 2009? Not very impressive. What really bugged me though was the refusal to allow me to check in early or checkout late. Like come on. I told her I would pay whatever to cover it, but without sympathy I was given a no. I'm a reasonable man, I've worked in hotels - it can be done. Especially for paying customers. This is literally the only hotel that has ever said no to that in my experience. Which is just super weak. I'm talking two hours early, and one hour late. "We don't do that" is what she said. I hesitate to call the staff "nice". Young guy with the tattoos is cool and helpful, but I recommend staying at the Super8. The people there are great, rooms are cleaner, and they'll accomodate you.

We really liked the breakfast. It was much nicer than the average hotel breakfast and the staff were great at keeping things stocked and cleaned. The room was pretty clean. It wasn’t outstandingly clean but it was comfortable. The bed and bedding were nice. All the linens seemed very clean, which we appreciated. It was nice and quiet. It was nice that the hotel was in the same parking lot as a Boston Pizza and an O’Shea’s (however the O’Shea’s was closed Tuesday and Wednesday). The hotel staff were great. I forgot my contact lense case and the lady at the front said they didn’t have any but gave me some ear plug cases to use - I really appreciated her thinking outside of the box. Another nice thing was we used a playpen/crib of the hotel and it came with some kid blankets. I appreciated that. And the room was very very dark with the black out blinds (something I find so useful when travelling with kids!). Overall we were happy with our and would definitely stay here again!

Some of the guests above us were very loud but the staff was great when we called and dealt with the issue right away

From check in to check out this was a glorious stay. Staff was friendly, personable, and professional in all areas. Front desk check in staff on Monday afternoon engaged in just enough small talk to make us feel welcome. Not an easy feat as the hotel was quickly filling up with folks who had to cut travel short due to the first snow of the season and unexpectedly spend the night. On both Tuesday and Wednesday the breakfast room staff were out of this world! Because of the unexpected onslaught of guests previously mentioned, on Tuesday morning they were rushing to fill up the chafing dishes. However, the girl working made a point of keeping you appraised of what was being cooked and how long that it would be. Again, friendly and chatty and yet still professional. Wednesday I just went to breakfast to grab a coffee and a juice but the gentleman working greatest me with honest cheer and conversation. We were in town for our anniversary so booked the king size bed/hot tub room. The room was stunning, much more fancy (and yet cozy) thank what I had expected. Even through we had a hot tub in the room, we went to use the pool, slide, and hot tub in the common area. These two 60 year olds had a blast on the water slide! The pool is spacious and warm, and the hot tub was glorious and steamy hot. All in all a wonderful stay. I'm glad that we chose to travel from Hanna to Drumheller instead of one of the big cities. We'll do this again next year.

Good experience. Room was clean everything worked as it should. The kids enjoyed the pool. We all slept well. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast.

It was a clean hotel with a great breakfast. We liked that they didn't have the news on in the breakfast room and that they don't use paper plates. The staff were helpful. It was a convenient location for us to go see the Royal Tyrrell Museum.

I chose this hotel for my family because they offer a King room with a separate room, so we could have our 4 year old and 1-year-old sleep in separate areas. They also advertised that cribs/infant beds would be provided for free. We were informed the day before our stay they did NOT actually have cribs, but only play pens, which is not definitely not suitable for a 1 year old. So we had to bring a crib mattress with us. Also, the room was not the most family friendly, as there was a big fireplace surround that was a massive tripping hazard and very dangerous obstacle when the sofa bed was pulled out. The pool was okay, but not at all suitable for younger kids (too deep). The best part of the stay was definitely the continental breakfast. It was well prepared and had good variety. Unfortunately due to the dangers in the room and the lack of crib (false advertising), we would not recommend this hotel for young families.
